Being with her felt so good, having his arms wrapped around her with his lips on her was the best feeling he's had in a while. It felt like old times and even though it was only going to last for a night, it was more than he could ask for. Nothing was going to stop them from enjoying the night, the only thing that could stop them was if she wanted to change her mind because he knew he wasn't going to. And he hoped that she wasn't going to. She had pulled away from the kiss only long enough to get his shirt off of him, that made him smirk as well. Brad was in relatively good shape as he was always out surfing, swimming, and hitting the gym or even going for a run when the weather was extremely nice. It helped him get his mind off of work and all the stress he had in his life. She wiped away the smirk he had on his face by kissing him again, just as deeply as he had done it earlier. He found their way to the bed as he laid her down and continued to kiss her deeply, not letting his lips or tongue leave her for one second. Who knew that this is where they would be at this moment. He woke up this morning thinking that she already went back to the city and they had left things pretty badly, but now here they were. He didn't want to think about her not being here, it would ruin things and this moment was honestly perfect. His lips dipped down to her neck again, slowly he left kisses against her neck before kissing lower on her shoulder then slowly going back up to her neck again. If he was being honest, he could kiss her all day. If his shirt was off, hers needed to go too. he was working on kissing her neck as he grabbed the bottom of her shirt and slowly lifted it up and over her head before tossing it somewhere along the floor as well. Brad took a moment to look at her body, admiring every single inch of her, giving her a wolfish grin before he took her lips again and laying his body gently over hers as he continued to kiss her with every desire that he had. When he found the power to pull his lips away from hers, he started his kisses from her collarbone all the way down to her stomach, making sure to slowly kiss his way on her body. Yeah he was definitely enjoying every second of this.
She couldn't help but laugh and roll her eyes at him saying that he wouldn't be able to stop her, "of course not, you're a guy, you'd be stupid if you tried," she said, laughing. Mindy thought about it for a moment and he was probably right about Brad not finding it hilarious. If there was one thing about Brad that she really knew, it was how protective he was of her. She was after all his 'baby sister'. "You might be right about that, but he seems to trust you so I think you'll be okay," she said, laughing. "I do think he'll lecture me though," she said, rolling her eyes. She loved her brother dearly, but sometimes he could be overprotective. "Besides, if we did come in drunk, I'm pretty sure he'll blame me before he blames you," she might've been the kindest and an optimistic person, but she was a troublemaker too. It's hard for some people to believe since she came off as a goody good, but when she was mischievous, Brad always knew when she got herself into trouble. She remembered the first time Brad caught her drinking underage with her old boyfriend at the time. She begged him not to tell their parents which he didn't, but she did have to do his chores for a month straight. She wrapped her arms around herself as they made their way back to the apartment. It was a little chilly out since it was later in the day, but she loved this time of year. California always had great and hot weather, but when it was windy, it did get a little chilly. "So when do we start these surf lessons?" she asked him, looking up at him as they walked. "Unless you plan to bail on me, then we're going to have a problem mister," she said, playfully nudging him in the side. Obviously if he had other things to do, she understood since teaching her would take a lot of work, but she wanted to learn since everyone she knew always went out to surf.

Brad moved her backwards to the bed and she felt it dip when she laid down on it. That was what was amazing about this bed and she felt bad about leaving it behind but at least it would be in good hands. Many nights she had been laid in bed just watching the TV while on her stomach and some popcorn in a bowl next to her. This bed was definitely better than the one she had in the apartment back in New York and if she could take it with her then she would but she wasn't going to be one of those passengers that took everything with her when they moved. Nope, the bed would have to stay and she was going to say something about that when he covered her lips back up with his. His kiss always made her weak and she was definitely going to keep this moment in her head for a very long time. His lips dropped to her neck and she bit down on her lip while closing her eyes. He just seemed to have the most amazing lips and he knew they made her feel weak no matter what they were doing to her. Regina opened her eyes when he took the shirt off her and she could see his eyes checking her out and for a moment she actually felt embarrassed and even felt her cheeks start to burn especially when he gave her a grin and then kissed her once more. She was definitely going to take this with her to New York. It was so much more better than arguing, this completely made up for all of that.
If there was one thing he knew it was that protecting baby sisters was the brother's job more so than any other male. Mike was the eldest out of the two, only by a few minutes as Regina liked to remind him, but he was still the eldest and he did everything to protect her. But he was also aware that Regina gave as good as she got. Nothing could keep her down or very long, just like she had promised to be okay when she had skyped with him not long after moving to New York. She was brave and she would deal with everything as it came and he admired her for that because it meant that she wouldn't take any prisoners. If anyone happened to piss her off then she would make sure that she dealt with that person in a way she could do but other than that she would just make sure that she was able to handle anything and working at her new law firm seemed to have brought out a different side of her. He was proud. "You forget that I am in fact an older brother too, so protecting my baby sister is my job too, but I also know that at some point they have to fly the nest and while it's hard not to wrap Regina in bubble wrap but I'm pretty sure that she would push me into the ocean if I ever tried to do that" he smirked at her before putting his hands into the pockets of his jeans. In honesty he wouldn't even attempt it. He loved the ocean but Mike was sure that Regina would turn him off of it. He watched as she put her arms around herself and then moved his hands from his pockets and shoved his jacket off and put it around her shoulders. "You know for the cold" he smiled and then looked forward once more. "I said I would teach you how to surf and I definitely will, but I think it'll be a couple or so days, I have to make sure that Regina gets back to New York safely" he nodded and gave her a smile. He just hoped that her and Brad wasn't at each others throats because this would be awkward walking in with his sister.

This was a special moment between the two of them, especially for him. Everything had been bottled up inside for the past year and he had to keep himself busy from thinking about her. Trying to move on was the hardest thing he had to do, and he thought he did so when he met someone else. Life had a funny way of working out. Maybe this was something they both needed and wanted, something that they could remember forever even if later on down the road it would be painful. He could name a hundred reasons why this wouldn't be a good idea, but did he care? Nope. Not when he was kissing her right now. Any guy would be stupid to stop and he wasn't going to be that guy. Brad worked his way back up, finding her lips and crushing it to his again as one hand was holding onto her waist and the other one slightly rested on her leg. The way her soft lips felt against his only made him want to kiss her even more. It honestly felt like home. A home that would soon be leaving again. He didn't want to think about that, not about her going, not about what would happen tomorrow, nothing. They both agreed to make this last night memorable and that it would be the perfect way to say goodbye. He knew exactly how to kiss her, exactly where she liked to be kissed; that was one of the things he like teasing her with, knowing where her weakness spots were. That was one of the great things when they were dating, they knew each other really well..they knew each other's strength and weaknesses. He kept his body close to hers, letting his mouth explore her mouth. She really knew how to drive a guy crazy just by being there. He was so happy that Mike decided to leave them alone, where ever he went.
"I actually applaud your sister for going to live her dream," Mindy admitted to him. She would never tell Brad this because first and foremost, she always had her brothers back no matter who was right or wrong. So even if she did think what Regina did was pretty awesome and liked her a lot, she was still on her brother's side as she was sure Mike would always be on Regina's side no matter what. "If I was her, I'd do the exact same thing, even if my big brother wanted to wrap me up in bubble wrap," she smirked. Brad would probably honestly do that just to make sure she was always safe. Her brother always had her back, especially after what happened between her and her ex-boyfriend. He vowed that the next guy who wanted to date her would have to go through him first and as protective as that was, it was really sweet. It would be a long time before that ever happened though since she was more cautious this time around. She felt him put his jacket around her shoulders since she had been shivering from the wind, "Wow such a gentleman," she teased, smiling up at him, "That's very chivalrous of you, thank you." Naturally she felt herself blush since she hadn't expect I'm to do that. It was probably as innocent as it was but still, it was a very gentleman like gesture and she really appreciated it since he didn't have to do that. She continued back to Regina's apartment as she walked next to him, listening him tell her that they'd start the surf lessons soon after he helps Regina get going. Understandable since that part was very important, "That sounds perfectly fine, it'll give me time to mentally prepare myself anyways," she laughed. She was going to need all the time she could get if she was going to get back out there. Once they turned the corner, she could see Regina's apartment in the distance, she suddenly didn't feel like going in there. Not that she didn't want to help them or anything or that she was dreading walking into them arguing, but it was because she was honestly enjoying her time with Mike. he was fun to talk to and get to know and most of all he was a gentleman. Most guys would have asked her on a date, tried to get her number or try to get into her pants, but he was really respectful. "Must be going well for them since Regina hasn't called you or Brad hasn't checked to see where I was," she said with a smirk. Those two, so stubborn and confusing. As they got closer, she turned to him, "Ten bucks says they're in separate rooms ignoring each other until we get there," she said, laughing. Hey, she could be right.

Regina's heart was pounding hard in her chest and she was sure that any minute it would actually come out of her chest. If she was honest, she didn't actually expect this to happen. She knew at some point they were going to come across each other but she expected to be arguing with him and not doing this. This was the better of the two but this definitely wasn't her plan when she came to the apartment today. She had hoped to get in and out without anyone knowing she was really here but he had found them there and now they were doing this. She closed her eyes as his lips went over her body. Nothing about this seemed fair because he knew what he did to her when he kissed her. He could make her melt and he was very aware of this. Regina knew that in the next couple days she would be going back home to New York but if they had this night between them then this was much better than shutting the door on him and just leaving again.
Mike had to admit that he did too. "Me too" he nodded and gave a smile. Regina had always wanted to study law and then go work in New York. It was like if you could make it there then you could make it anywhere. And Regina was doing it. She was doing really well and he was proud of her but he did miss her more than anything, sure they skyped and rang each other but that didn't seem the same as being in the same room and talking for hours on end. Regina could talk her lungs off, there was no denying that but he missed his sister more than anything and maybe he could go out and see her in her apartment one day but for now he was going to deal with the fact that she was here for a few more days and then he would be back to using Skype. Mike scoffed at her. "They are probably glaring at each other from the other ends of the room and not wanting to be the first one to ring us" He gave another smile and then raised his eyebrow when she turned it into a bet. "I like that bet and I'll take it" not that he really was worried if he lost or anything.

If this was their last night together, he was going to take his time. He was going to remember inch of her body, her kiss, her touch, just everything. He remembered this like it was the first time. He still remembered that day and knew that no matter how hard he tried to forget, he wouldn't ever be able to. Kissing her now was like kissing her for the first time, he could never get tired of it. Even though he probably will never get the chance to ever again, he was grateful for it now and he wasn't going to let this go to waste. He was going to make this memorable for it, as selfish and egoistic as it sounds, he wanted her to remember him, that he's the one she'll think about when the next guy comes along and that no one could compare. That's how much he wanted her to remember. He wanted to be the best kiss she's ever had, the best she's ever been with as selfish as it was. More clothes had to go if he wanted to be that guy. He reluctantly pulled away from her lips and stood up to kick off his shoes and then he pulled the belt on his pants off, his eyes not leaving her as he dressed down to his boxers. The confident smile on his face was gone the moment he hovered over her again and crashed his lips on hers.
"That makes a lot of sense, they're both stubborn and refuses to be the first to wave the white flag by calling us to come save them," she said with a laugh. "Maybe I should give Brad a heads up then that we're coming so that it won't be awkward to walk into a heated argument," she said as she grabbed her phone out of her bag. Last thing she wanted was to be in an awkward situation and feel bad tension between the two of them. Couldn't they just get along for a few hours! She dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.Hmm, nothing. Frowning, she tossed her phone back into the bag. "No answer, which I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing," she said. It was actually a bit weird that Brad didn't answer, in fact he hasn't even called her to see where she was or if she was coming. That wasn't like Brad at all. In fact she was almost a hundred percent sure that Regina hasn't called Mike either since Mindy doesn't remember him picking up any phone calls or even looking at his phone. "Let's go see what's going on with these two," she said as they reached the apartment. She saw Brad's car parked in the same spot she saw when she first arrived. Quietly approaching the apartment door, she leaned her ear against the door to see if she can hear anything. Silence. She looked over at Mike before shrugging. Maybe they weren't there anymore. She tried the door handle and to her surprise, it opened. Walking in, she looked around and saw a bunch of boxes everywhere but neither Brad or Regina in sight. "Brad...? Regina...?" she called out, while walking with Mike around the apartment looking for them. "Maybe they left," she said with a shrug. That's when the bedroom door caught her eyes, it was closed. She walked with Mike behind her as she headed over to the door and opened it before letting out a shriek at what she saw before quickly turning around and shutting her eyes which forced her to run into Mike.
It felt like someone just poured ice cold water on him as soon as he heard the door open and heard a shrieking sound. Brad just froze just the way he was positioned and spot that he was at. Oh no. It suddenly felt like reality just came crashing down on them and snapping them out of the daze that they were in. He knew exactly who that shriek belonged to and there was no way he could turn around and face her. Face his little sister who he totally forgot was coming to help him out. Face his little sister who definitely did not and should not see what she was seeing. It took him what felt like an eternity to quickly jump back and fall onto the bed next to Regina. "Mindy! What are you-" he stopped talking mid sentence and that's when his stomach dropped even more when he saw that Mindy wasn't alone. Mike was standing there with her. He really wished the world would just swallow them up right now. This couldn't get any worse could it?

Regina could pretty much work out what was going on in his head and in honesty she wanted to tell him that no one would ever come close to what she had with him but rather than actually saying anything, she watched as he got up and took his pants off, she bit down on her lip and let a grin pull at her lips. Watching a guy undress had to really be one of the sexiest things she has ever seen. But of course she wasn't going to say that to him because of the fact that he didn't need his ego to get any bigger than it already was. But hey, he really was the hottest guy she had ever had the pleasure, quite literally, of being with. She then felt his lips land back on hers and she put her arms around his neck and ran her fingers down his back, her nails softly digging into his skin.
Mike wasn't really worried about Regina, if he was honest. The lack of a phone call probably just meant that they were sitting down like adults and having a conversation. He hoped that was what was happening. Regina needed to talk to Brad and Brad to her because of the fact that they had dated for a long time and there was no way they could just leave it like that. It wasn't fair to the both of them. He could just see Brad and Regina sitting down with a drink while they had the much needed heart to heart. He then looked over at Mindy when she tried ringing Brad and then grabbed his own cell out of his pocket to see if Regina had rang or not. Nothing. Although he did have a text from his mother reminding him about the dinner they were all having that evening. He hoped the food was edible this time. He loved his mother, but she was definitely a terrible cook. He looked over at the cars and saw that Brad's was still there and Regina wouldn't leave without him. She wouldn't even leave him in the mall. It was rather embarrassing sometimes. Mindy went into the apartment and he followed afterwards and looked around. Everything was still here and it looked like the boxes were getting closer to being filled. He waited a moment and then followed after her once more and then let out a noise of his own and put his hands on Mindy's shoulders and turned the both of them away. "Good god put some clothes on!"
Regina let out her own shriek and then put her hands over her eyes before she ended up laughing. This has got to be the most awkward thing ever but at the same time she had to laugh because it was so damn hilarious.

The last person someone would want walking in on them when they're hooking up with someone after their mother would be their sister. A brother walking in wouldn't have been that bad, he'd just get a lot of jokes and teasing from him but that was about it. Having your younger sister walk in on you was not only embarrassing but extremely awkward. He was just really thankful that he still had some boxers on or else they would have been in for a really big surprise. If they had walked in any time later, that would have been something that they would like to erase from their minds He immediately put the covers over them since he couldn't find their clothing as they tossed it somewhere in the room, he turned his head to Regina when he heard her laugh. He stared at her in disbelief and couldn't believe she was laughing right now, this was so awkward to have their siblings see them like this! However, he couldn't help but to burst out in laughter as well after hearing her laugh. At least someone thought it was funny. What were the odds of them walking in on them at this exact moment? "Well at least you could've given us a heads up," he chuckled lightly. Ah as mortifying as it was, it was extremely hilarious at the same time. He just didn't know how the other two were feeling at the moment.
Mindy couldn't believe what she just saw. Did that really happen? Shocking? Yes, but mainly more surprised. This whole time she thought they were in a heated argument or not even speaking to each other but what she just saw told her otherwise. The last thing she would have expected to happen was that, whatever they were doing. She couldn't turn to look at her brother, now it was just really awkward. She was just completely thankful that he had some sort of boxer on or that would have scarred her forever. She opened her eye to look up at Mike and seeing his eyes shut, she couldn't help but laugh too. "I guess we both lost out on those ten bucks," she said, shaking her head slightly. "Can you guys please put some clothes on?" she asked, mainly talking to her brother. She hadn't seen if Regina was clothed or not since Brad had been on her. She could only imagine what Mike was thinking right now, boys were more protective of their sister but this was a unique situation. "I uh...I'm just going to wait out there," she said, shaking her head as she headed to the living room to wait for them. That was an image she definitely couldn't wait to get out of her head. Now she really wished that Brad had given her a heads up that he was fine and didn't need her help anymore, then she wouldn't have to see what she just saw.

This was just awkward but the only way Regina could get through it is if she laughed because if not then she would probably just end up crying out of embarrassment. She bit down on her lip and was thankful when Brad put the cover over her and she pulled it up over her face and laughed some more. The look of pure horror was no doubt on their faces but it was the most natural thing but at least they weren't actually in the middle of doing it. She cleared her throat and pulled the cover down from her face and watched Mike and Mindy both who were actually turned away and in honesty she was surprised to see the both of them together but she guessed that today was just full of surprises. She tried to glance around for her shirt but she was sure it was on the floor somewhere and she wasn't about to ask her brother to reach down and grab it so it would have to wait. She settled her eyes back on Mike.
Well this was something he never thought would be happening between the both of them. But he had to admit that it was definitely better than being on different sides of the room with the tension at breaking point. He too cleared his throat and kept his eyes on the wall behind him. It was definitely something he didn't want to walk in on though so maybe a little heads up had been best. "Sorry" he said and then bit down on his lip and then pointed towards the living room "I'm going to go with her.." he nodded and then remembered something. "Oh Regina, mom sent a text and said not to forget about the dinner tonight, she told us yesterday and I'm sure that with everything going on you had er, forgotten about it" he nodded and then walked with Mindy not looking back at them. His eyes did however fall on the boxes that needed to be loaded into the trunk. "Want to help?" he asked and set his eyes on Mindy and then nudged his head towards the boxes. It was Regina's stuff that would go into storage until she was able to sort it all out properly.
Regina's eyes went wide when Mike mentioned the dinner "Oh, god" she admitted and put her hand to her face, she had completely forgotten about the dinner that night. Things had been going around in her head and then she found herself making out with Brad and it just seemed to slip out of her mind completely and now that she was reminded, she knew she would have to be there. Regina bit down on her lip and watched as they both left them too it before she sat up and pushed the cover off. There was no way they could finish what they started with the other two in the apartment and with her mind on the dinner she couldn't afford to have anymore distractions and she knew that Brad would definitely be a distraction. She looked around the floor and finally found her shirt and pulled it on before she looked over at Brad. Regina moved over to him and sat, facing him, on his lap and looked over his face. "I'm sorry that we couldn't finish what we started" she admitted and set her eyes on his before she pulled his lips into a kiss. More than anything it would've been good to have ended this in good spirits but now they both were going to be ending it like this.

The moment the two of them walking in and the moment they left felt like an eternity. Finally when they left, he saw Regina get up to find her shirt before pulling it on and sitting on his lap. Brad's hands naturally went around her waist when she sat on his lap and kissed him before apologizing. He chuckled lightly and shrugged his shoulders, "you don't have to apologize, I guess it was too good to be true," he said, smiling at her. It was still going to be something he remembers for a long time even though it didn't end how he wanted it to. His eyes flickered to the door for a moment before looking back at her. He knew the moment they walked out of the door, this, whatever it was, would be over. They both agreed this was their way of saying goodbye and if he was being honest, he wasn't sure if he was ready to go just yet even though he knew he and to. "I just can't believe that just happened though," he leaned his forehead on her shoulder and he couldn't help but laugh slightly. Well he hoped he would be able to have a conversation with Mindy, not about that obviously but just in general. They were both adults, but it was still awkward to have your sister walk in on you like that. He pulled back to look at her face again and remembered the look she gave after Mike told her to not forget about the dinner plans, "she would not be happy if she found out you missed that dinner because of me," he shook his head. Brad remembered meeting her mom and hitting it off with her, but then again Brad was pretty charming to everyone he met. He hadn't spoken or seen her since before Regina moved but he was sure she was the same. Suddenly he was aware that he was the only one not dressed and he smirked, "I should probably get dressed too before they come barging back in," he said, laughing.
Mindy still couldn't believe that just happened. "Let's just pretend that didn't just happen," she said as she headed out into the living room, knowing that none of them will be able to pretend that that just happened. She didn't know who it was worse for but she really wish she hadn't walked in on them. Thankfully it wasn't further than what they witnessed and thankfully Mike was there with her and had to see that too so she wasn't alone on that one. One thing for sure though was both her and Mike needed to leave those two alone and wait in the living room or something. She heard Mike ask her if she wanted to help move Regina's things. She ran her hand through her hair and nodded quickly, "oh yeah, anything to not have to be in that awkward position," she said, grabbing a box as she passed one. "What is going on with them? I thought they weren't speaking to each other. That was definitely the opposite of not speaking to each other," she said and then smirked. She was definitely going to question Brad later about what was going on between them. What she saw didn't look like they were fighting, it looked like they were actually together. It was a good thing right? Things were good between them? She really hoped so since she's been rooting for them, but who knows when it comes to the two of them. She should learn that when it came to their relationship, the only two people who understood it were Brad and Regina themselves.

Regina didn't even know what to say to Mike especially when he had caught her like that... Well it wasn't the first time one of them had been walked in on. Only that time it had been her walking in on Mike and Georgie. God she still hated that girl for what she had done to her brother. In fact she had offered to go and give the girl a good talking too but if she was honest she would probably have ended up slapping the girl and losing her job at Pearson Specter. But Mike had told her that he would handle it and he did by cutting off both his friend and Georgie. So maybe now it was pay back for what happened to her and she was wondering just how he was taking it. Probably the same as her, wanting to cut her eyes out. Her eyes then fell back on Brad and she smiled before putting her hand through his hair as he put his forehead against her shoulder. "You know my mother she doesn't like people missing dinner"
Mike looked back towards the door and then sighed "in honesty as long as they don't involve me then I really don't mind what happens with them" he hates being in the middle of those two. He liked Brad and didn't want to lose the friendship that he had with him but he did have Regina to think about and family did come first. "Plus it's better than arguing" a grin pulled at his lips and opened the front door once more before reaching down and grabbing one of the boxes and walking out the door. His car was waiting for him and he wanted to make sure they had everything before heading to their parents house because he knew their mother would grill them about everything that they had been up too while getting the apartment cleared. God he just hoped that he didn't slip up on what Regina was doing. He leaned the box on the top of the trunk before reaching into his pocket and grabbing the keys out of it and opened the trunk up before putting the box into it. He will be glad to drop this stuff off.

That he did remember about Regina's mother as well, that she liked having dinners with her children. "I know maybe one or two things that we can do instead of you having to go to that dinner," he joked and kissed her again softly on the lips. He pulled away and laughed lightly as he stood them both up so that he could get dressed finally. It was a little odd that he was the one that had the less amount of clothes on. He found his pants first and put those on before looking around for his shirt that she tossed somewhere when she took it off for him. "I'm sure you'll hear an earful all the way back to New York if you missed dinner with her," he said. Their moms were similar when it came to that, never letting them hear the end of it if they missed any family activities. If it was his mom and he missed dinner, better bet that his mother would be at his house pulling him by the ear all the way back to her house. She didn't care how old any of her kids were, they were still babies in her eyes and when she asked for something, the children always listened to her. Eventually he found his shirt that was tossed off to the side and he pulled it over him and sighed. "We should probably head out there to them," he said as he walked with her towards the door. Before opening the door and going back out to reality though, he stopped and turned so that he was facing her. He grabbed her gently by the back of her neck, pulled her to him and kissed her deeply on the lips before pulling away. "In case I don't ever get to do that again," he said with a sad smile. They did agree that it was the perfect way to say goodbye and the moment they walked out of that door, that would be it for them.
"I have to agree with you there," she said as she placed the box into the car trunk, "As curious as I am, I don't think I want to know what is going on between them either, it might make my head hurt," she laughed. She headed back inside with him after the two of them dropped off the boxes. "Have you ever been to New York yourself before?" she asked him. The only time she's ever been was when Brad had a surfing competition, even though it was the Hamptons and not the city. She always dreamt about going there just to see how it was like. She's heard good thing about the city, but never got the chance to go there herself. She has seen pictures of it before and see it on TV, but that wasn't the same as going there. It was funny since she spent the last year traveling the world, she happened to miss the city though during her trip. And before that, she asked her then-boyfriend if they could go and he never wanted to. Maybe she'll go visit Regina one day when she had time to travel again or if she was there again for Brad's competition, she'll be able to take extra time and stay a little longer to visit the city. For now it was going to be at the top of her list for places she dreamt about traveling to.

Regina loved her mother more than anything but if she ever put a tie out of line then she heard about it and rather loudly. She was older than she had been then but that didn't mean Regina got away with anything. She remembered that her mother had cried when she said that she was going to be leaving for New York. It was her dream job but it had caused so many people to be so upset with her and now she was starting to wonder if it was actually worth it after all. But she knew that that was because she was back here, once she got back to New York then she would be okay. She was tired though and much rather just go back to the house and get into bed, even if it was in the afternoon. Regina looked up and watched him getting dressed and actually felt depressed because he was meant to be taking it off and not putting it back on. But if it hadn't been for their siblings then they would be in blissful passion right now. She sighed and nodded and was going to answer but then he kissed her lips and she pulled him in by his shirt and kissed him back. She felt her heart pound hard in her chest once more. He definitely was aware of the affect he had on her. It wasn't fair. "I'm sure we will see each other again one day and maybe we can try again" she whispered at him and then gave him another kiss before letting go of him.
"No actually I haven't. I've been meaning to go out but it always seems like something comes up this end and won't let me go anywhere but hopefully one day" he admitted with a nod and then looked back towards the apartment. Regina was always going on about how amazing it looked at Christmas and he was hoping to go out and try Christmas out himself there. He was sure that she would take him everywhere she could so he could try this and that out. He looked over at Mindy once more. "Who knows maybe I will find myself in the city one of these days" he gave her another smile before moving back towards the apartment for another box. He would like that. To spend a few days with his sister and have fun while they were both were still single.

None of it was really fair. As much as they loved and cared about each other, the one thing that kept them apart was the fact that they couldn't agree on their choices. She wanted to live her dream in the city and his life was here. His surfing career was based here and he knew that he couldn't just up and leave. At least they were able to get the closure that they both needed, but why did it still hurt him to let her walk away. Brad couldn't help but smile at her comment about maybe one day in the future they'll be able to try this again. "I'm gonna hold you to that," he said, laughing softly. Truthfully though, who knows what could happen in the future. She could find someone new and start a relationship with them, it was a big city with a lot of people. She was allowed to move on just like he had done the first time around because ultimately he wanted her to be happy no matter what and as much as it would kill him. He opened the door to the bedroom and let out a deep sigh before heading out to the living room to see if the others were still here. If he didn't let her go now, he wouldn't be able to. Getting over her and letting her go once was hard enough, this time felt like it would even be a lot worse. He didn't think distance could even work with their hectic life. He's heard about the company she is working for, they were one of the best and to be one of the best meant that everyone was always doing their best. He was always busy, traveling to different cities to compete. Getting to the living room, he didn't see Mike or Mindy anywhere.
That was surprising to hear that Mike hadn't gone out to the city yet. She figured that he went out there to make sure that his sister was settling in alright, but then again it took a lot of work and time to travel across to the other side of the country. "Well that makes the two of us never been there then," she said with a smile. "Someone told me Christmas time was the best time to go, so maybe that's the time to get there," she said with a smile. Being a California girl, she loved the weather and the hot summers, but she was always someone who wanted to see snow, feel the cold winter, drink hot cocoa by the fireplace. Those were things that she knew she'd never be able to experience living here and even though she was okay with that, there are times she wished she could just experience it once. Plus people said it was a very romantic time to go and she was single so maybe she wouldn't go for a while. Making it back into the apartment, she saw the the two of them were out in the living room already. She looked between the two with her eyebrow raised, wondering if Brad was going to pretend like nothing happened, which she honestly hoped that he did. "Hi big brother, what's up?" she teased, knowing that her brother would glare at him for that. "How about we all just pretend like that didn't happen," she said, hoping everyone would agree with that idea.
Brad rolled his eyes and shook his head, "don't even start," he said, laughing. "Let's just get this finished so we can get out of here," he picked up one of the boxes and looked over at Mindy, "Besides I need to paint the room dark blue anyways," he said, knowing that Regina and Mindy would disapprove of the color choices. He then realized that Mindy was wearing Mike's jacket which caused him to raise his eyebrow. If they wanted to tease them, then two could play at this game. "Looks like you two kept yourself busy in the mean time I see?" he asked, acknowledging the jacket that was around Mindy's shoulders.
She laughed at Brad's comment before scrunching her nose, "You are not painting anything dark blue," she said, shaking her head, "that's why you called me over, to help you make it look nice, not a boring ol' place," she said as she then realized Brad saw what she was wearing. Her face turned a slight pink as she looked over at Mike then at Brad, "It was cold out while we had to wait for you two to do whatever you guys were doing," she shot back. She knew exactly what her brother was trying to get at.

Regina smiled at him when he said about holding her to that. If truth be told she wasn't sure what would happen to them, she could very well meet someone else in New York.. Things with Brandon could escalate. She was going to ask him what he would say if that did happen but they had such an amazing moment that she didn't want to ruin that at all. Plus Brandon was Brad's brother and the last thing she wanted to do was come between the two of them. She smiled once more and then walked out of the room and she felt herself breathe as if for the first time. Regina was tired and would give anything to curl up on the bed and go to sleep but she had this dinner to go too. Her mother would probably ring her up and yell at her for not turning up, hell she would probably come around and get Regina herself. She walked out the room just as Mindy and Mike walked back into the apartment and she gave both of them a smile before looking at Brad once more. "You're not painting this room dark blue" she huffed out and shook her head before she went back to finishing up the boxes. She actually felt a little sad at the fact that this place was slowly emptying around her.
Mike walked back into the apartment and saw his sister and then grabbed another box before disappearing once more. Trust Regina to have so much damn stuff. He huffed out a breath an put the last box into the trunk, the rest would have to go in the back seat. He opened the door and then leaned in, grabbing the stuff off the seat and putting it on the floor. Surely he could get Regina to get rid of some of this stuff because it really was too much in his damn car. His poor baby was being weighed down by so much crap. He sighed and then stood up straight before checking his phone. They had a little while before they had to be at their parents and in honesty he found himself thinking about whether or not Regina had asked Brad to be there too. It seemed like they were on some sort of even keel, he just hoped that he wouldn't have to comfort her again on the way to the airport like the last time. He bit on his lip and then rubbed at the back of his neck with his hand. Relationship dramas are really something he didn't miss. Maybe he did miss having someone but that want will have to just disappear because he wasn't ready to date anyone.

Brad smirked when Regina told him again that he wasn't going to paint the room dark blue, "We'll see," he smirked. She might have something to say about it but she was leaving eventually right then he could paint it? And besides once it's painted, there was nothing that could really be done. Or so he would like to think, except he wouldn't push it past Regina because knowing her she'd paint it back and would Mindy would probably smack him upside the head for even doing it. Women these days. He really was going to miss her, their relationship aside, he was going to miss their friendship and how they could playfully bicker at each other and then laugh about it later on. Brad picked up some of the boxes and moved it closer to the door so that it would be easier to bring out to the car. The apartment was looking a lot emptier now that they packed up most of the things. It still didn't feel real, it never did even the first time around. Now he was suddenly thinking that this wasn't very smart of him. It took him half a year to be okay with not being with her and having to her move away, but now he was dreading it. What did he expect though? They wouldn't have been able to get back together no matter what the outcome at the end of the night was. At least he had these last few moments with her, it would be over soon though as her mother wanted her at dinner tonight.
"Don't worry Regina, I won't let him paint anything that horrible dark blue color," Mindy said, letting her brother know that she meant business. When Brad had showed her the color she wanted to paint the place, she scrunched her nose in disgust and told him that he wasn't going to paint anything that color. "Good luck trying to get anything passed us," she grinned. She grabbed another box and headed out to Mike's car after him. There were still a couple boxes left that needed to be packed in his car so that they could get her things out of there. For one person, she sure had a lot of stuff but what girl didn't? She's sure if she moved out, she would have just as much stuff. It just didn't look like a lot in her apartment since everything was spread everywhere and she shared the place with her best friend and roommate. Now the two of them had a lot of stuff inside of the apartment when they combined everything they had together. That's what happens when two girls share an apartment and have their own interests, the whole thing is just packed with stuff. "So it's safe to assume that Regina's not bringing all this stuff with her, where are you going to put it?" she asked him. "Unless you plan on keep it for yourself, except I must have to say some things are a little girly, unless that's your style," she teased.
