“The total comes out to 17.87.” She said in a bored tone. Her big brown eyes lifted from the cash register to his face as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. While it was a paying job, she regretted the day she turned in that application and received the skimpy outfit she was wearing at the moment in return. “You look...really familiar.” The man, who was most likely in his mid-30s, smiled big at her as he handed her a twenty dollar bill. Alex took the money, not even paying attention to his goofy grin or the fact that he was leaning on the counter and batting his eyelashes. “Two dollars and thirteen cents is your change.” She sighed, handing him back the money and a receipt. “You a model or something?” The man kept trying, even though he was going to get no where with her. Alex stared at him for a moment. “No. I'm not. Can you please move out of the line? I have customers waiting.” Alex smiled sarcastically. She was aware that there was no one else in line, and probably no one else in the store, but she could care less. She was tired of this guy hitting on her. He walked out of the store slowly, seeming confused. "Loser." She huffed under her breath, placing the palms of her hands on the counter.

Aubrey was in one of the aisles looking for a few of her favorite choice munchies when she noticed the man at the counter hitting on the young woman, but figured that she would stand there and not do anything unless something happened. When the man finally left she grabbed a bag of shoe string potatoes and a coke before walking over to the counter and ran a hand through her hair as she dug into her pocket as she simply said, "Men, always trying to say anything they can to get into your pants." of course she statement was accompanied with a slight laugh.

Alex smirked, standing up straight when the girl walked up to the counter. "Getting hit on is part of working at a gas station." She replied, carefully swiping the girl's snacks across the scanner. "$2.50." She read off of the computer screen, lifting her dark eyes.

"But is it worth it?" Aubrey said as she dug through her pockets in an attempt to get the five dollar bill out, which was hard because of how tight the pants were; until she finally got it and set it on the counter, "Sorry, I'm having a bit of a rough time."

"Not really." Alex admitted, shifting her weight to the opposite foot. "But its a paying job." She smiled a little, disappointed that this was one of the few actual paying jobs in this town that would hire a girl her age and also allow her to finish school. She took the bill and popped open the cash register, removing the girl's change. "Here you go."
