"Everyone seems broody to you" she mutters but if Jeyne is honest then she had said about it to herself a little bit ago. They caught her looking and she was sure that she looked like an idiot as she pretended to be looking elsewhere and not at the two people at the high table but it was very hard. She moved after Adrian when he moved in a direction and made sure that she wasn't on her own because that would look silly and the last thing she needed to do was look like she was making eyes at Jon even though she had someone back home and trusted her enough to get the North on their side.
She didn't want to let Eoin down at all.
Jeyne came to Adrian's side and then grabbed hold of his arm to stop him interrupting Sansa and Tristan talking. "I think she really does like him" she whispered to Adrian and then nudged her head in the direction of the two that were talking. She moved her eyes over to Edric and she saw the look on his face before looking back at Adrian "And clearly someone isn't pleased about it"
Katherine raised her eyebrow and looked in the direction of Jeyne, she had never thought about it before. She watched her walk off in the direction of Tristan and huffed out a laugh softly. "I don't think the Ruler of Rohan sent his Queen-to-be over to fall in love with anyone" she said in a soft tease before moving her eyes back to look at Jon and then she ate another piece of roll. She hated the feel of food in her mouth now especially when she didn't need food like that to keep her alive anymore, no she needed the red kind.
She looked in the direction of Jon's throat and she felt her own tighten up when she saw the pulse underneath his skin. Katherine forced herself to look away and out at the people in the room.

Jeyne grabs a hold of his arm before Adrian can finally get to the table his brother has chosen among those they traveled with. His dark brows dart high momentarily, the sudden halt making the last drops of ale in his pint splash back against his chin. He lowers the cup and swipes the back of his hand across his mouth in annoyance, looking towards Jeyne with a small glower until she starts her whispering. He shifts his eyes quickly back towards his brother, catching sight of him sitting right across from the fiery-haired Stark girl, a warm smile on his lips and a nearly matching one on Sansa.
A slow smirk crosses Adrian's face.
"Poor bastard," he says lowly, shaking his head but still damned amused. "Edric is gonna rip his limbs off one by one and he was worried about me."
"Edric was...telling me about what happened north of the Wall." Sansa says, feeling suddenly awkward though she's not sure why. Tristan looks far different when he's not swathed in thick furs and dusted with a fine layer of dirt and grime. His blonde hair is nearly golden, the same color as the beads cinching off loose braids hidden behind thick, curly locks. And his face is kind. Handsome even, despite being hidden beneath an elaborate mustache. When he smiles, dimples appear in his cheeks and his blue eyes almost dance with light.
But she reminds herself that Asher had been handsome too. Noble. And he had only wanted to marry her for her name. As has every other handsome prince or lord that has ever graced her presence.
Beneath the table, her hand finds Edric's and she pulls it close to her, fingers lacing through his, feeling their warmth, their coarseness, reminding herself once more of what has brought her this far. He glances towards her through the corners of his eyes, before his gaze settles back upon the man across from them, his fingers folding around hers.
"Ah, yes," Tristan says, bobbing his head a little and using a large piece of his roll to push food around his plate. "That dreadful mess."
"You held your own." Edric comments.
Tristan glances back up, one brow darting upwards in mild surprise. "A compliment. Coming from you." He says, tipping his chin in an acknowledgment of respect. He shifts his blue eyes back towards Sansa, but nudges his blonde head towards Edric, "Your husband is quite remarkable on the battlefield."
"Husband?" Sansa blurts out, her voice louder than it probably should have been. Both Brienne and Tormund halt with food halfway towards their mouths, the latter's eyes blowing wide. Tristan just blinks in surprise. "We're...we're not...." She tries, her tongue tripping over her words as she quickly looks to Edric, the color draining from her cheeks and her heart leaping into her throat. "I'm..."
"We're not married." Edric fills in for her with a slow blink.
"Partners, then?" Tristan asks, as if it were that simple. As if Sansa isn't perpetually afraid of Jon deciding to finally stop turning a blind eye. As if the whole of this continent wouldn't find reason to somehow shame her for being with Edric in any capacity. As if her name and her maidenhood weren't what has kept her alive this long, and what keeps her high in the eyes of the Northern lords still sniffing for some way of gleaning power.
She wants to swallow her tongue or run from the room or melt into the floor.
Even Edric seems to hesitate, his teeth clicking together quietly as he tries to figure out words, his grip loosening somewhat on her hand.
"I...apologize if it puts you on the spot." Tristan says to break the tense silence. "I assumed when I shouldn't have. I forget that I am not in Rohan. Where I come from, matters of the heart have very little limitations. My uncle is actually planning on spending a long and happy life with a man." Brienne's brows furrow slightly at those words, but Tormund just bobs his head in approval, biting into a turkey leg at the same time. Sansa's shoulders relax slightly, a little taken aback by Tristan's candid way of talking. "But anyway," Tristan says, clearing his throat, "I liked the uh..." he motions vaguely towards Edric with a hand, "The wolf bit."

Jeyne watched Adrian before she moved her eyes back over to look at Sansa and Tristan. If she was honest this definitely wasn't something she thought would happen but it was nice that Tristan seemed to like someone, even if sadly that someone was taken and by a giant. One who could easily rip Tristan's limbs off and eat them if he wanted too. She had to admit that there was a part of her that worried that Tristan would never connect with anyone but it seems like she didn't have to worry.
All it took was the right person and Tristan would do the rest.
Sometimes it was better to not push things but Jeyne was more than happy to start the wedding proceedings and this would actually bring Rohan and Westeros that much closer, it would even bring Rohan and the North together but this wasn't anything to do with her and if Sansa was already with someone then maybe it wasn't the best thing to be meddling in whatever that girl had with that... giant.
Especially when she didn't want Tristan to be ripped apart, she liked him and had even thought of them as her family or 'her boys' as she called them so much when she saw them. Her eyes moved over to look at Katherine and she too was watching the exchange between the two of them before their eyes connected and a smile was shared between the two women to which Katherine held her cup up at her and then Jeyne did the same before she looked back at Adrian. "Who knows, maybe you will come back to Winterfell more often" she said and then took a drink of wine before grinning at the man next to her.
Jeyne wasn't going to tell Eoin of this just yet but maybe the two females could sit down and talk it through even if it looked like Katherine let Sansa do whatever she wanted too because no one could tame those Starks or at least that's what she had heard.
