Edric frowns, but carries Tormund off nonetheless without argument, giving Katherine one fleeting look before they depart. Katherine suggests going inside, the temptation of warmth fighting off any desire to stay out here and talk any further. "Mahal, yes." Kili blurts out before darting forward, carrying himself towards the doors of the Great Hall with his palms rubbing fervently together. Fili shrugs a little but follows all the same with Jeyne at his side.
Jon sighs quietly, and carries himself behind.
The castle is warm and glowing with the light of a hundred candles burning in their sconces and a dozen fires licking at the bricks of hearths. For the first time in a long time, it feels almost as it once did. Back when they were young and innocent of all of this. No longer were the stones cold and drab and empty, the scorch marks and blood covered with singed Stark banners and ripped blankets. It has only been a few weeks, but it only takes a moment for Jon to know the work Katherine and Sansa have put into restoring Winterfell. It soothes some of the ache in his chest.
"Jon," A voice interrupts his thoughts and silences Kili's comments on the blasted cold, and Jon glances down the length of the hall to see a sweep of red hair and bright blue eyes coming towards him. Much like Katherine, Sansa clasps onto him before Jon can say a word, her arms wrapping around his neck and nearly toppling him backwards before he catches her. When she pulls back just as quickly, her fist hits his shoulder hard. "Why didn't you write?"
Jon huffs out a breath that's close to a laugh, rubbing sorely at his shoulder. "Not very many ravens north of the Wall."
"Do I look like I care? You had me scared to dea-" she halts as soon as her eyes find the two boys staring at her with raised brows, her own cheeks turning a bright, embarrassed pink.
"Oh don't mind us. Please. Keep hitting him." Kili says, a sheepish smile tugging at a corner of his mouth as he motions vaguely with a hand towards Jon.

Katherine watches the interaction between Sansa and Jon and honestly she wonders if she ever looked that bad while the weeks went on. If it hadn't been for Jeyne coming over then Katherine would've stayed in her room and not come out until he returned she guessed what made it feel so much more worse was the heightened senses that her being a vampire caused. Everything was so much more intense that she was sure there had been times where she had wanted to scream. Like right now she could hear Leith whistling a tune in the kitchens, the stable boy feeding the horses.. the beating hearts in this room. That didn't stop her from noticing the looks that Edric gave her everytime they were near each other. He knew about her and she was sure of that. But what made it harder of all was the blood that she could smell in this room, the amount of blood that even she couldn't wipe away but it looked so much more better than it did.
That's when she felt movement and she looked away. This really was the first time she had been like this so maybe her emotions had been all over the place while Jon had been gone but she never lost control and now she really wanted to keep herself in check but if anyone was watching her then it would look like she was looking out the window but under her breath softly she was muttering to herself that she couldn't do this here and now.
Jeyne rolled her eyes at Kili when he started speaking to Sansa, if she was honest she loved both her boys equally but she did like to mess with Kili sometimes, she guessed that this was the adventure that he had tried to get her to go on when they had stopped by Durinhall but she had said no, that this adventure would have to go one without her but she was glad that she had stayed at Durinhall because there was no way she could've gone North of the wall with how cold it was here in Winterfell, she guessed it was just as worse there and that was the last thing she needed. She watched Sansa and Jeyne had to admit that her heart went out to her, especially when she had been worried about her brother and now watching the two of them, her eyes moved passed and looked in the direction of Fili and Kili. Sometimes she worried about them too but she would never tell them.
"Lady Sansa may I introduce these two troublemakers, this is Fili" she pointed to the golden haired one and gave a smile "and his brother Kili"

"Adrian," Kili says quickly as Jeyne introduces them, using the name he had been born with rather than the adopted one that has chased them across the whole of Rohan, "And Tristan," He motions to his brother beside him, who raises his brows a little at the younger of the pair. "At your service." He gives a sweep of a bow at those words, pushing the hood from his head nearly at the same, fluid instant. Fili blinks in surprise, before rushing to catch up with his brother's antics, bowing low at the waist himself. Sansa watches him, a little taken aback, her hand falling to clutch absentmindedly at Jon's forearm. As Kili rises straight once more, a charming grin has found its way to his mouth, his dark hair falling free to his shoulders. "Fili and Kili are nicknames, my Lady."
Sansa falters for a moment, lips parting but no words coming forth for a moment. And then, finally, when she's recovered herself, she says with the same cordiality her mother would have been proud of, "A...pleasure to meet you. Forgive me for my...outburst." She looks quickly to Jon, searching for some sort of answers, her cheeks still scarlet.
"They're...of House Durin. of Rohan." Jon explains as best and simply as he can. A fact he'd only learned as they were surrounded on all sides by the dead. He hadn't had very long to dwell on that fact, hadn't had very long to let it pull at any sort of curiosity he might have had.
"Two of the last three." Kili adds on with a wink.
"Not something to brag about, actually." Fili tacks on to the end, giving Sansa an apologetic smile. "Ignore him, our uncle dropped him on his head when he was younger." Kili's smile turns terse and annoyed as he slowly turns his head to look at the blonde beside him. But Sansa huffs out a surprised breath of a laugh. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, my Lady," Fili continues with far more grace and chivalry than his brother, "Apologies for arriving unexpectedly and loudly."
"It is not the first time." Sansa admits with a small smile.

Jeyne looked taken back when Kili actually corrected her, really she ought to have said Adrian but she wasn't sure if they would want them to know who they really were but clearly they wanted them to know. Then Kili bowed and for a moment she remembered a time when they had knocked on a door of someone that would join them on their adventure. A man that was actually one of the greatest she has ever known. Sadly she didn't get to Ash as much these days especially with Eoin trying to get her to do all sorts of stuff while she was in Durinhall. She guessed it was so that she was ready when they got married. Whenever that would be of course.
Katherine listened to Jon and thankfully she was able to turn back around when he said about the fact that these two boys were Durin's and for a moment she wanted to wince because the Petrova's should've helped the Durin's but they didn't and now Katherine really felt bad but at the same time her father was the biggest cock and should've been murdered by the bull a long time ago.
"We're used to loud here" Katherine said and smiled softly. "After all the Starks are known to be loud" she said with a soft tease before looking over at Sansa who was pink in the cheeks. These two were good looking men and she had to admit that when they weren't bad looking once they were smiling but she had her own Northern man.
"Adrian, Tristan" she tried again. "This is Katherine Stark, the Queen in the North" Jeyne said and then looked between the two men and Katherine.

"Well then we'll fit right in," Fili replies, smiling warmly at Katherine. Jeyne is quick to introduce the two brothers to Katherine officially, something Jon hadn't even thought to do outside in the cold. But it sounds more formal coming from Jeyne's lips, a woman who, unlike Jon at the moment, is clean and blood-free.
"Ah, so you're the Queen to his King." Kili comments, another smile finding its way to his lips as he points loosely towards Jon. Another frown finds its way to his lips. But Kili does not see it. His dark eyes turn instead towards Jeyne, a hint of mischief on his face, "See? She accepted her proposal and now she has the entire North of Westeros."
"We are not married," Jon corrects him, fighting the urge to wince. How many conversations have he and Katherine had about this? How many times does he have to hurt her? "And I am King only by blood. I have accepted no throne."
Kili's smile vanishes almost instantly, a lingering tension appearing suddenly in the air above their heads. And then, subtly, Kili leans towards Jeyne and mutters, "Nevermind, they're just as stubborn as you are."
"Should we have lunch?" Sansa interrupts loudly, finally releasing Jon's arm.
"Please." Fili says, clearing his throat.

Katherine couldn't help but smile at Fili and she then let a soft laugh out. If you were loud then you were mostly likely to fit in with the Starks but she did have to say that she would take the Starks over everyone else every day. They were the family she wished she had so when she married into them she had felt like she was finally part of a family, that there was people who would love her no matter what. She still believed that now but that didn't mean she was ready to open up to them about what happened in King's Landing.
Kili then spoke and she found that the smile was slipping from her lips faster than anything she has ever felt, the amount of pain she felt everytime someone said about them being married hurt her heart and it didn't matter that it didn't beat anymore, it still hurt her to know that Jon wouldn't marry her. Then Kili spoke at Jeyne about accepting a proposal.
Jeyne rolled her eyes at him. If she was honest she has heard this time and again and she guessed that Eoin would get the two boys involved some how but she never guessed that Kili would ambush her at Winterfell over accepting a proposal. It wasn't a secret among them that she wasn't ready to marry Eoin but it had more to do with the fact that she wasn't ready to be Queen to a country. She would get Rohan, definitely, but she wasn't ready for Rohan. It was a feeling that she was going to ask Katherine if it ever went away but she didn't have time.
Katherine looked down when Jon corrected Kili and she closed her eyes, it was a feeling that she wasn't going to be able to shake off at all. She wanted to marry him, she wanted to officially call him her husband but he wouldn't marry her. He always said that she deserved better, that no one would accept him because of his status or because he didn't want to ruin her reputation but Katherine never cared about that, all she wanted to do was marry him. There was a silence and it was hard to ignore but she tried her best and even opened her eyes when Kili spoke to Jeyne, he might've muttered it but she heard every word.
Jeyne sighed and then nudged him before shaking her head. No one knew the reason behind why these two couldn't get married, but they clearly cared about each other, clearly loved each other. "That would be lovely" she said when Sansa interrupted and said about lunch "Come Adrian, I'm sure there are things in the hall that you haven't managed to put your foot in" she then put her arm around Kili's and pulled him with her.
Katherine watched them and then sighed under her breath before putting her eyes on Jon and giving him a soft smile. "You look worn out, you should relax in the tub or something"

Jon stands where he is as Jeyne pulls Kili quickly away, Fili following with a small apologetic smile and Sansa the one ushering them. Katherine is the first to break the quiet between them, drawing his eyes from their retreating backs to the woman at his side. She smiles, softly, but he knows that Kili's misguided and ill-informed words had hurt her. He'd be a fool to think otherwise.
"I think I will," he admits, not feeling nearly as hungry as he probably should after weeks of eating very little in order to hoard rations for a quest they had not known how long it would take. But any hunger there might be is subverted by the exhaustion of his muscles and his bones and his mind. And besides that, he feels stiffened by the dirt and sweat and blood still clinging to him from the fight and from the rid. Snow and ice even still cling to the trimmed beard at his jaw, only now beginning to melt.
But he hesitates for a moment, glancing back in the direction the others had disappeared off to. "They're...good lads." He says finally, looking back to Katherine. "Kili talks a lot but he's...he's had his own wounds. And Fili is a silver-tongued bastard, if I've ever known one," he adds on with a faint laugh, a smile cracking across his mouth and crinkling at his eyes. But a moment later, his face turns serious once more. "We would not have survived out there if it were not for them. I promised them they could stay here for a few days. To rest and heal, before they return to Rohan. Hopefully, I do not come to regret it." He adds on, glancing back towards the Hall.
He shakes his head slightly after a moment and squeezes Katherine's elbow gently before he turns and heads for the door, making his way towards their chambers.

Katherine watches as the four of them move in the direction of the Great Hall if she was honest she wasn't sure just what she was going to do with three guests from Rohan but she did like Jeyne, there was just something about her that made Katherine want to take her to one side and have a personal conversation about her own life back in Rohan, there wasn't anything royal about her but she seemed to have her own grace when it came to how she acted and she was sure that Jeyne wasn't taught it. She might not be married to the Ruler of Rohan but she definitely held him in high favour when it came to putting across to Katherine just what Eoin had sent her there for.
She looked back over at Jon when he spoke and then nodded. It was definitely the first thing she done when they got back from King's Landing, it had been a very long time since she had a bath that didn't involve getting in and then out because of new information coming their way. It had felt like heaven when she got into that hot water and it had been heaven everytime she got in it lately. Katherine had Sansa to help her out when it came to running the North but she still felt the pressure and she still needed the time away. Sansa was definitely an angel in her eyes for taking some of the responsibilities when it came to Winterfell and getting the place up and running again had been their first target and they had managed to beat that.
Jon spoke again and she looked in the direction of where Sansa and the others had gone and she bit on her lip. Katherine was sure that they were good lads and if Jeyne could vouch for them too then they must be good. She laughed softly when he said about Tristan and couldn't help but want to grin. After all they were the Princes of Rohan. She remembered hearing about them all the time and now meeting them in person had been an honour especially when she thought they had been killed. "They're more than welcome to stay here for a few days, you know Winterfell will never turn anyone away" she nodded.
He squeezed her elbow and she put her hand on his for a moment and then let it fall away when he turned and headed towards the door. She watched him and then headed in the direction of the Great Hall herself. After all they did have guests.
Jeyne turned to look at Kili "You know that Bilbo will be jealous that you ended up in Winterfell" she said and smiled at him.

Getting their two newest guests to sit and eat and talk comes at no great difficulty. Even weary from travel, flakes of snow still clinging to their hair and clothes roughened from sleeping on frozen ground, they relax easily like no people Sansa has ever met. Their smiles come naturally, warmly, and she finds herself staring at them as if they are glowing beings from another world invading her family's cold, darkened hall.
It's as if no shadow has ever dared touched them -- Adrian most of all.
He drops his bow heavily onto the table, a massive curved thing carved with runes and squared designs, notched deeply three times at each end and hand-strung with a curious, silvery twine. Sansa jumps a little, but the man just grins as he takes his seat with every lack of grace. Tristan grabs the weapon quickly, swinging it over his brother's head and sets it against the stone wall.
"Bilbo could have come with us if he wasn't too busy shacking up with Uncle." Adrian comments, before tugging his leather gloves off with his teeth. Sansa slowly takes her seat, watching the pair of them cautiously for a moment before waving over a serving girl. Plates appear before the four of them, filled heartily with warm food and accompanied by dribbling cups of ale.
There's a sharp thud after Tristan sits, and Adrian startles in pain from a stomped foot, the grin vanishing from his face. "Maybe don't talk about Uncle's affairs in front of a Lady," the elder says carefully with a sidelong glance towards his brother.
A faint smile tugs at one edge of Sansa's lips, somehow amused by this strange pair. For all their eccentricities, from their braided mustaches and beaded hair and untamed tongues, it's sort of...refreshing. All the men and women here are gloom and doom, even now that the war is over. Muttering about winter and cold and death as if that is all they have ever known. Perhaps it is. At times, Sansa feels like it is. Remembering Winterfell when it had been summer and her family had been alive gets harder with each passing day, replaced by other memories. Darker memories. But these two present a unique change of pace. A unique kind of trouble that she might have once hated her own brothers for. "I've heard far worse." She replies, arching a brow at the both of them, the smile appearing a little more.
Both turn their eyes towards her, the dark-haired one letting his own smile creep back forth. "Have you?" He asks, wryly.
"I've drank with wildlings, camped with soldiers, eaten with men of the Night's Watch, and been forced to Queen Cersei's rants after she's drowned herself in a vat of wine," Sansa says as she breaks apart a steaming roll with her fingers, "So yes. I have."
"I like you." Tristan comments, resting his elbow upon the table's surface and pointing a finger at her.

Jeyne had to laugh softly because she knew what they were saying was true, she wasn't the only person who found someone on the adventure. Bilbo had ended up with their uncle and after they took Durinhall back the boys had ended up in Ash with Bilbo and Thorin but now they were on their adventures again. She had gone on a few herself with them in the years after they had Durinhall but this one she had never thought that she would be coming here and there was a part of her that was glad that she hadn't gone even if she had ended up here anyway.
Katherine watched them and came to a seat at the table before she bit on her lip and looked down at her platter. She wasn't sure just how she was going to eat because of the fact that she couldn't swallow food so she seemed to be a bit screwed at the moment. She had been tempted to go and find Jon but she didn't want to leave the others without someone even if Sansa seemed to be having a good time. Instead she reached over and grabbed a goblet and drank some of the wine. She looked over at Sansa when she spoke and then cleared her throat. She also has laid with a hound but that wasn't anything to do with Katherine.
Jeyne snorted when Tristan spoke about liking Sansa. "That is a compliment because he really didn't like me when we first met" she smirked over at Tristan before looking back at Sansa with a soft smile. "Or at least I don't think he did" she admitted before shrugging up a shoulder.
Katherine gave a soft smile before she sat back in her seat.

A small sort of pride flourishes in Sansa's chest for a moment at Tristan's remark, an unexpected feeling in the face of two haggard men who are clearly flirting, but she scoffs all the same, looking down to her plate with a shake of her head and a faint, coy smile.
Tristan drops his hand as he looks to Jeyne, arching a blonde brow at her and smiling in amusement. "I liked you fine," he replies, before nudging his head towards his brother, "I didn't like him for a little while." Adrian snorts in disdain, his mouthful of food silencing any arguments he might have had -- but also giving Tristan the rare opportunity to speak over him. His clear eyes settle on Sansa once more. "We met Jeyne in the little town of Nightfall, and after this one," he says, pointing to Adrian, "Picked a fight with a few men and practically destroyed a tavern, he asked Jeyne to run away with us despite knowing we were wanted men going to see the most wanted man in Rohan to discuss treason."
"Oh, is that all?" Sansa remarks, a hint of teasing sarcasm in her tone.
"I know. I clearly overreacted." Fili smiles warmly as he joins in on the joke, his eyes crinkling around the edges.
"Clearly."
Out of the corner of her eye, Sansa sees Katherine sit down and she clears her throat quietly, quickly deciding to change the subject as if she were caught doing something embarrassing, "Did Jon disappear again?" She asks, searching behind the dark-haired Queen for her noticeably missing brother. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised." She murmurs, reaching for her glass. Even when they were children, Jon would vanish into thin air if you weren't paying close enough attention, always seeking out the training yard, or the maester's tower, or the ramparts when things got a little too crowded. She knows now that Jon was only trying to save himself the trouble of being scorned and chased off anyway. But it seems old habits are hard to kill.
The servants fill a bath with boiling water fresh from the fire, and leave him with quick, kind smiles. He returns it as best he can, but his face feels like stiff ice. The door closes. The room quiets, and steam rises thickly from the surface of the tub. Undressing takes effort. His furs drop heavily to the ground, matted with ice and dirt and blood. His aching muscles protest as he unlaces his leathers and tugs them off piece by piece, letting each fall unceremoniously to the floor. His boots are the most difficult, taking an effort that nearly siphons off the rest of his energy.
Even in the dim, grey light leaking through the frosted windows, the dark, vast bruising across his chest and back remain ugly shadows across his pale skin. A set of wide claw marks rake across his side and left arm, a cruel reminder of the dead ice bear. They are not deep, not worrisome -- luck allowing him to catch only the barest of scratches as it knocked him back with a rotting paw. But each stretch and pull makes them sting.
He steps into the water, the surface still bubbling, and does not flinch. The heat soaks into his skin, sharp and burning, but his body, his muscles, his wounds welcome it like some delicious elixir, letting him lower himself slowly and stiffly into its depths. He holds his breath until he's submerged, releasing it in a slow shaky rush as the water laps over his chest to his neck. The icy shard embedded deep in his heart seems to lessen, melt, and Jon lets his head slip beneath.

Jeyne couldn't help but laugh at what Tristan was saying, she remembered when she had left Nightsong. Of course she had only been going to Ash with them and then it ended up with her going along on the adventure that they had planned while in Ash. Although some would argue that she was pretty much pulled on the adventure but she had willingly went with them. She had enjoyed it but there had been times when she was sure that she was going to die, even if she hadn't and in the end had ended up with the Ruler of Rohan which was definitely something unexpected.
"And now I'm with the Ruler of Rohan and decided that Adrian isn't the man I want to be with" Jeyne said and then looked over at the dark haired man before giving him a wink. She then decided to get some food in her system.
Katherine looked over at Sansa when she spoke to her about Jon and she bit on her lip gently. "Yeah, he's gone for a bath" she admitted with a nod of her head. It had felt like she hadn't seen Jon in a very long time and now that he was here it just felt like she had so much more stuff to do and not able to spend time with him. She took a sip of her wine before looking between the three new guests that had joined them in the Great Hall. They really seemed like the best of friends although they seemed much closer than that like family and that made Katherine want to smile.
"So you're like family?" she asked and watched them. Katherine looked passed them and over to Sansa with a soft smile before looking back at the three new guests.

"Because Eoin is so fascinating." Adrian replies, tone overflowing with sarcasm. But he does not seem hurt or bothered by the notion that Jeyne does not want to be with him. And from Jeyne's noticeable wink and continued teases, she knows this too.
"Something like that." Tristan replies to Katherine's question.
"Which reminds me," Adrian continues, pushing right passed this line of questioning onto something new, his dark brows furrowing as he turns his eyes towards their female companion. "Why, exactly, did Eoin send you here? Usually he wants to do all the boring diplomatic stuff himself because he just loves to hear his own, serious voice."
Tristan grabs Adrian's shoulder and, with a noticeably tight grip, forces the man to sit back in his chair with a disapproving look. "I think someone's tired from the journey. He's not being very polite." Tristan says pointedly. Adrian slumps against the back of the chair and rolls his brown eyes before letting them settle back upon Katherine.
In a monotone, bored, and nearly practiced voice, he says, "Eoin is a very respectable man and a good King. Huzzah."
Tristan releases his shoulder and shakes his head faintly, beads clinking softly in his braided hair as he returns to his lunch.

Jeyne rolled her eyes at Adrian’s sarcasm and then bit on her lip. If she was honest it had been a very big shock to her at the end of the journey when she realised that she did have feelings for Eoin. She had only been wanting to go to Ash but after that she had just followed along and in the end getting caught by Eoin’s men had been an accident but when they started to work together to take back Durinhall she had realised that she cared about him and it hadn’t been something she had planned but then again neither had she planned to go back to Nightsong. Once she had been on that journey, there was no place left for her in her hometown because she knew that she couldn’t stay in a place that she had gone from when there was the whole country outside of the very door that she had left a long time ago.
Katherine smiled at Tristan before nodding. If she was honest she had picked up a bit of family herself along the way, her eyes moved over towards Sansa and she was wondering what she would be doing without that very young woman. She moved her eyes back towards Jeyne; there was something about this woman and she couldn’t explain just what it was, it was like she had known her for a while and having a friend, now, was a very complicated process because there was always a worry that they would want to kill you but Jeyne seemed nice enough.
Jeyne was about to take a sip of her wine when Adrian asked her a question and she paused, her lips pushed out before she raised an eyebrow at the dark haired young man and then put the wine back down. She had been waiting for this question because he was right, Eoin usually done everything himself but this trip he wanted her to come on but she could just about guess why he wanted her to make this trip and she was sure that he hadn’t seen Tristan and Adrian being here at the time. She sighed softly “Eoin… has me doing things like this a bit” she admitted and then pushed her lips together.
“For when you get married?” Katherine asked and looked over at the dark haired woman who looked as though she couldn’t believe it herself.
Jeyne gave a tight nod. “He probably thinks that if I do things like this then it’ll be more easier to change my mind and for us to get married”
“Or he could be easing you into it so that you’re ready for when you do get married” Katherine nodded. “If that is the case then I really wished that Robb had done something like that for me” she admitted. “I honestly had no idea what I was doing so when we came back to Winterfell and I had the whole of the North in front of me it was.. challenging” she said with a slight smile. “But sadly by the time we got married the war had already begun and we were on the road”
Jeyne watched Katherine for a moment and then gave her a soft smile before looking over at Tristan who was explaining Adrian’s impoliteness but honestly there were times when she was used to it. “I think Adrian is mad that I made it here before you guys” she said and softly laughed before looking down and trying again with the wine.
Katherine laughed softly at Adrian’s impression of the Ruler of Rohan and then bit on her lip. “Who knows maybe one day we will meet Eoin and he might not be so serious” she said and then looked down at her lunch. She loved Leith for what he made but she couldn’t exactly eat it but if she wanted these guests to think that she was normal then she would have to show them just that she was human so Katherine grabbed a roll and then pulled it apart before she put a piece of the bread into her mouth.
She wanted to gag but didn’t.
Thankfully.

Adrian guffaws a little and rolls his eyes, picking apart his food with a hand that Sansa only now notices trembles faintly. It does not take a very careful eye to notice his apparent annoyance with the new king of Rohan, a petty kind of annoyance that does not seem to stem from anger or distrust. Sansa would be concerned about his attitude towards a man who now controls the largest intact continent of the world, if she had not come to know Jeyne a little in the past few days. While the woman is still somewhat a stranger, she is kind and honest and has proven to be a friend to Katherine. If Eoin is anything like her, if Eoin trusts her enough to send her here to negotiate some sort of alliance, then Sansa is willing to take Adrian's sarcasm and dislike with a grain of salt.
Besides, Tristan seems far more level-headed than his brother, and does not seem to have the same reservations.
"You may have gotten here first, but we're the ones who've had the most fun." Adrian comments, waving a chicken leg towards Jeyne.
"Fun is not the word I would use..." Tristan mutters.
"We saw the Wall, we fought the dead, Jon's friend," Adrian says abruptly, his eye lighting up with excitement, "Turned into a giant wolf, that was pretty cool--" The words grab at Sansa tightly and suddenly, making her chest expand with the breath that sucks into her lungs at the reminder.
"Edric, you saw-- Is he okay? Did he come back with you?" Sansa says in a rush as she bounces up to her feet, making both Adrian and Tristan look to her with raised brows and matching surprised expressions.
Adrian falters for a moment before blinking, "Y..yeah, he's fine. Saw him go off with the red-haired wildling."
Sansa says nothing, forgetting her own manners for a moment, as she pushes her chair out with a loud scraping of the wood on the stone and hurries from the room, gathering her skirts to keep from tripping upon them.
