The makeout spot is a little cramped, which is to be expected, but they manage to fit all six of them into the tight space; shots spread out across the table. Bucky slides into the corner, situated in between Teresa and Sam, who looks quite content to put all of his attention on Lexi. He leans back into the seat, metal arm stretching out across the back while his flesh-and-bone hand rakes back through his hair.
"See? You'll survive." Nat muses to Barton, a hint of amusement curving her mouth as she takes a seat at the end of the long rounded booth, legs crossing at the knees and drink held close to her chest. Barton leans a shoulder into the wall and rolls his eyes, lifting the rim of his glass to his mouth. Sam laughs a little at him, reaching for a shot of vodka.
"I'm honestly surprised that doesn't-like-cramped-spaces is okay with all of this." Barton comments, flicking his blue eyes briefly towards Bucky.
"I've been in tighter spots." Bucky retorts over the music with a slow blink; a sharp bite rounding his words.
"Oh, I bet." Barton bounces his brows before downing his whiskey and looking towards the dance-floor. Bucky inhales a deep breath through his nostrils, but eases out the frustration with a subtle clench of his metal fist. Even after all of this time, he and Barton still don't get along. Lexi might have forgotten than with a few drinks, but it only becomes more and more prevalent when Clint gets a hold of alcohol. Which is always lately. Bucky stretches his fingers out straight, and wiggles them slowly to loosen them.

Teresa looks up when Bucky sits next to her and smiles to herself. In honesty she didn't mind being close to him, in fact it's not like she hasn't been close to him before. She feels his arm stretching out across the back and she leans into it. It might be his metal arm but that didn't bother her. Her side might be pretty close to Bucky's but her eyes were looking between Barton and Bucky. She might not have seen the former in a little while but she had never seen him like this. She pulled her lip in between her teeth and looked over at Lexi.
She shrugged at Teresa and then reached forward for her shot glass. This really was a tough crowd to be with. Lexi leaned into Sam and whispered in his ear. They were like this all the time, especially when they were in the same room which wasn't lately. School had kept her away and he had SHIELD duties. Plus the Christmas holidays had kept her away from Cambridge. Her and the family had been elsewhere so really Lexi didn't have time to do anything.
Teresa bites on her lip before she looks up when her song comes on. "Ooh, I love this one, we have to dance!" she huffs out before nudging Bucky's side. "It'll be fun and I know you like to dance" she said the last bit quietly because not everyone knew she had met Bucky before he went to war.
"I'm down for dancing!" Lexi said and knocked her drink back before she put the glass down on the time. It might liven the mood up a bit and get everyone in a different mood. It didn't take a scientist to realise that both Bucky and Barton didn't get on but dancing would definitely help that.

"Easy boys." Nat chastises, looking slowly between Barton and Bucky like they're bickering children. Granted, sometimes, they are; and Bucky isn't going to stoop any lower by claiming that Clint started it first when he threatened to turn him over to SHIELD all those years ago. Especially when he knows that he's not being any better by letting Teresa, the girl that Barton has so blatantly fawned over for god knows how long, lean into him like a couple of teenage lovers on the bleachers. So he stays silent, swallows down half of his glass of whiskey, and rolls his tongue across his lower lip.
Teresa nudges his side, and Bucky turns his blue eyes back towards her, brows lifting in slight surprise at just how quickly she jumps onto the idea of dancing. He huffs out a small laugh when she whispers to him, a crooked smile tugging at one corner of his mouth. He sits forward a little, body leaning towards hers, a hint of amusement lingering in her stare. "Well if you insist." He muses to her.
"Oh god. We're really not dancing, are we?" Barton asks, a look of horror crossing his face.
"Oh ye-e-ah we are." Sam replies, grinning wide and hopping up to his feet almost like he isn't already tipsy. "Come on, Clint. Show us those acrobat moves" He jabs Barton three times in the stomach, lightly, before reaching out a hand for Lexi to take, a laugh bubbling out of him happily.
"I didn't dance." Barton retorts. "I don't dance."
"Suit yourself." Sam calls over his shoulder as he pulls Lexi with him towards the dance-floor. Bucky snorts under his breath, shrugging out of his leather jacket, unafraid to show his metal arm beneath the short sleeves of his v-neck white t-shirt. No one here is going to notice it anyway.

Teresa watches Bucky and then grins when he leans his body towards her and speaks. "Oh, I definitely insist" she said in a tease before looking over at Barton when he seemed to have a little bit of a freak out over the fact that they were going to have to dance. "Oh hell yeah" Teresa said with a smile. Plus it would definitely lighten the mood between everyone. Plus she couldn't ever deny wanting to dance at the club. It's mostly what they had come here for anyway. Dancing made everything feel better.
Lexi looked up when Sam got to his feet and then started talking to Barton before she laughed to herself. He reached out a hand for her and she slid her hand into his before standing up and taking her purse off over her shoulder and putting it on the seat along with her jacket and hat. At least here she knew they would all be perfectly safe.
"Where's the fun in that?" Teresa pouted and looked over as Sam and Lexi headed towards the dancefloor. She stood up herself and removed her jacket too and left her own purse and phone on the table before looking down at Barton. "You should come, it'll be fun" she said with a smile before looking up at Bucky and nudging her head to the dancefloor before she headed out herself. "Come on Bucky, they're playing our song" she said and grinned over her shoulder before she moved her hips to the music.
Lexi huffed out a laugh as both her and Sam found a spot to dance and then just let the music take her over. Moving her own hips to the music. This definitely was much more fun than staying in on a night and finishing up any homework that she might actually have at her place.

Bucky tosses his leather jacket down onto the seat and rolls up the cuffs of his white t-shirt. He doesn't recognize the song, but the beat thrums steadily against the soles of his feet, and that's enough for him. He's danced to worse music, dipped and swayed girls to swing, poured his sweat out to jazz, curved Nat's elegant body to Russian orchestra. And this is by far not the first time he's caught himself on the dance-floor of a modern day club, hands everywhere they shouldn't be. With another smile, he follows Teresa and her infectious grin out towards the dance floor.
"Come on," Nat says with a slanted smile to Barton, rising to her feet smoothly and holding out a hand for him to take. "Dancing isn't all bad." With a roll of his eyes, Barton relents, and her takes a hold of Nat's hand to let her lead him out with the rest of them. But he picks up a shot along the way, and knocks it back quickly.
"Our song?" Bucky asks a little teasingly in Teresa's ear when he catches up to her, the palm of his metal hand skimming over her hip as she moves to the rhythm. He sways his own body to the beat, motions fluid and smooth, matching hers. "I didn't think we had a song." He admitted, with a slight smile curving his mouth. She and Steve on the other hand...they would definitely have a song. Something slow and melodic. Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby.

Teresa hears his voice in ear here and she can't help but bite on her lip. He has one of those voices that just seems to hit the right spot whenever it was whispered into her ear. A smile pulls at her lip when he asks about their song. They didn't actually have one, she more than likely had a song with Steve though, but that doesn't stop her from leaning forward and whispering into his ear. "When we're dancing, any song can be ours" she teased before pulling away and moving her hips with his. Only now feeling his hand against her hip and she was completely okay with that.
Lexi had one arm around Sam's neck, while the other was hanging down by her side. This definitely was fun and they all needed to do this again because going out with the others definitely made the night that much more fun. "We should do this more often" she said into Sam's ear before grinning at him and leaning her head back slightly and moving it from side to side. She could feel the beat running through her in ways that no one else here could really understand and for that.. it felt really good.
Teresa was meant to be doing homework right now and probably would be if it wasn't for the fact that Lexi had asked her to go out, it was probably the last time they would be together for a while again and she was definitely going to make this night so memorable for everyone involved. If only Barton would actually cheer up. At that thought she looked up and around and saw that Nat was pulling him through the crowd to the dancefloor and smiled to herself. Well at least someone was making him have some fun. Because he really did need it.

Sam grins down at Lexi, one hand on her waist. He's not the greatest dancer, not like Bucky and Nat who, apparently, have quite a reputation. But he's got enough feel for the rhythm, enough vodka in his belly, enough enthusiasm to make it damn fun as he and Lexi dance together to the beat of the music. Or...sort of to the beat. "All you gotta do is call." He replies, arching a brow humorously at her, all smiles and good vibes. He's in direct contrast to Barton's slight scowl as Nat tries to get him to move to the music. But all he does is take vague, stock-still steps side-to-side, his head thrown back in tangible exasperation, his eyes searching out his next drink to give him liquid courage.
His blue eyes catch on Bucky and Teresa, and his brow furrow together. "What the hell is going on between the two of them?" Barton asks down to Nat, loudly over the music, but not even Sam two steps away heard him.
"Leave it alone, Clint." Nat replies, fingers wrapping around the back of his neck, forcing him to look at her and not at them. "Have fun."
"I'm going to need about five more drinks for that to happen." Clint huffs out.
Bucky hums a short reply to Teresa, completely oblivious, to Barton's worrying look behind them. He tips his chin upwards in understanding, the smile continuing to linger around the edges of his mouth. "Well," He drawls out, "In that case," He inclines his head to the side, his mouth right by her ear. "Let me show you how to dance to our song." He presses close, body aligning right up against hers. He guides her hips with his hands and the rock of his own body to the music.

Lexi laughs softly and moves to the beat with Sam, or at least some of sort of beat that is before she nods. "I might have to do that.. I might even get the right number next time" she grins up at him but to be honest it was fun with all of them here, so it's not like she was complaining, maybe tomorrow when everything becomes more clearer but for tonight she's just going to go with the flow and that is dancing with Sam.
Bucky speaks and she can't help but pull her lip in between her teeth as he speaks in her ear once more. There was just something about him that seemed to affect her in ways that he never used to do. Maybe it was down to the fact that she has definitely kissed him back at Stark Tower after it was attacked and then she started to train with him. A grin pulls as her lips as he aligns his body against hers and then guides her hips to the music. She pulls her lip in between her teeth once more and moves with him, letting him and the music just guide her.
Lexi looks up at everyone around her and then sees Teresa and Bucky and raises her eyebrow before looking back at Sam and nudging her head towards Teresa and Bucky who looked like if they got more hotter then they would be taking their clothes off and having sex right then and there on the dancefloor. "I definitely have missed out on a lot of stuff" she huffs out and then laughs before shaking her head. She was pretty sure that she could see steam coming off the two of them. That's how hot it really was between the two of them right now.

"Consider yourself lucky," Sam says down to Lexi, the smile not going anywhere. "At least you called Bucky when he was in a good mood." And if she hadn't drunk dialed the wrong number, then they wouldn't all be in this club tonight, tearing up the dance floor for the first time as a group. Tony has taken Sam to plenty of New York City's clubs since moving in to her cushy tower in the heart of Manhattan, but Steve and Bucky generally stay behind. Or, on the rare case that they cave and join them, they always mysteriously disappear halfway through the night.
Sam isn't dumb, so he's usually left distracting Tony with alcohol and bad jokes and bar hopping to keep her from putting the obvious pieces together.
Barton in a club, however, is an absolute first.
His dark eyes glance towards Bucky and Teresa when Lexi makes a comment, his brow arching upwards at the pair of them. They dance together like they're incapable of breaking apart, seemingly every single inch of their bodies touching in the flashing lights. Ever since the attack on Stark Tower the two of them have been...close. And Sam isn't sure how to describe it or how to think about it. Most of the time, he just tries not to. Steve and Bucky are a handful on their own; throwing in Teresa is like playing with fire.
Evidently, it seems like Bucky really enjoys playing with fire.
"Yeah," Sam replies, looking back down to Lexi. "You really have." He laughs out.

Lexi definitely was considering herself lucky at the fact that she had called Bucky, but mostly because of the fact that none of them would be here right now if she hadn't called Bucky. If she had called Sam then he probably would've come on his own, if he came at all, but all of this was fun. For the first time they were in the same room, albeit with other people around, for the first time without anyone wanting to rip into anyone else.
She nodded when Sam laughed out after saying that she had missed out on a lot of stuff. She leaned forward and whispered into his ear. "I blame school for that" she laughed herself before moving away. The song changed to a different one and Lexi moved her hips more. "Woo!" she said and threw her hands up, moving the one for Sam's shoulder, in her air. She threw her head back and her long dark hair moved down her back as she moved to the music.
Lexi has been on so many nights out while in Cambridge but she had to admit that this beat all of them. She had Teresa and the others here and for that she was thankful. Plus the music was pretty awesome and the drinks were flowing and dancing with Sam definitely made it so much more better. She pulled her lip in between her teeth as she checked Sam out. They were flirts and it was fun and harmless. So of course they enjoyed each other's company.

They dance for another two songs in close confines, bodies rocking to the beat but Bucky long stops listening to the music itself. He likes it, even though he knows Steve doesn't. It's loud and repetitive, a cacophony of unpleasant noises to a man who still collects records from the forties and fifties like he's trying to hold onto something that still seems like yesterday. But Bucky, having lived through all seventy of those years, loves the way music is so damn different now. The lyrics may no longer be revered for their poetic nuances, but he loves the rhythm, the pulse; like a heartbeat.
And when he dances, he can feel the same thrum underneath the skin of his partner. In the quick, hot breaths against his neck. The same consistent, thumping drum.
His hands hold tight to her, their bodies shifting and rolling and swaying to the beat. It's only when the music changes for the third time that Bucky slows, his blue eyes glancing over her face. "Want to get another drink?" He asks, his voice a low rumble.

Teresa has to admit that she loves getting lost in music, whether it's when she's running through the woods or dancing to it on the dance-floor. She just seems to get lost in whatever beat was playing and it definitely helped when she had Bucky for a partner. Their bodies so close that she was sure they would practically melt together.
Not that she actually minded. There was just something about dancing with Bucky that made her feel pretty good. Maybe it was the way his hips moved with hers or the way his hands held tightly to her, either way it felt pretty good.
The music changed again and it brought her out of the trance that the music and dancing with Bucky had caused. It was then that she found that her heart was pounding hard in her chest. To be honest it felt like she had stopped breathing while they were dancing and had only just started back up once more, after finishing the dance, and she just about caught his words. A smile pulled at her lips and she looked in the direction of where they had been sitting three songs ago before she looked back at Bucky and nodded.
"A drink might be needed" she said and then huffed out a laugh. In honesty she needed the drink more than anything right now, she could feel sweat running down her back. It was hot, she was hot, and she needed something to cool her down a little bit. She guessed that's what she got for dancing the way that she did with Bucky.

Their dancing comes to a gradual halt, but Bucky still lingers close as he inclines his head to the side, seeking out their stolen spot at the back of the club. He can see that the rest of the group has already retreated back there, conversation unheard over the new song beginning to play and the loud chatter of a hundred talking-heads. "Looks like they started without us." Bucky comments, looking back down to Teresa with a faint smile.
Bucky takes Teresa's hand and leads her as they weave their way through the dancing crowd. He rakes his metal fingers back through his hair when they finally get back to the table, shrugging off Sam's loud, greeting cheer. "Look who finally decided to join us." Sam grins from ear to ear. "Have fun reenacting Dirty Dancing?"
"Ugh," Barton grumbles under his breath, and downs a shot of what looks like tequila. Bucky shakes his head a little and claims his spot in the corner once more, purposefully throwing his leather jacket right at Sam. The man lets out a loud laugh, catching the jacket against his chest and looking more than pleased with himself. Nat rolls her eyes as she bites an olive off of her martini's toothpick.
"Ordered you two a couple drinks." She comments in a murmur, glancing down to her phone briefly.

Teresa tries to calm her heart when they stop dancing. Especially when she's sure that her heart is going to come out of her chest from how hard it was banging against her chest. She pushes her eyebrows together and looks over in the direction of their spot when Bucky comments on the others having started without them. To be honest she didn't even know that the others had left the dance-floor so that's how in the moment she was with Bucky.
He took her hand and leads her through the crowd and she's sure that she sees some girls, and guys, look in his direction and she can't help but feel their pain. Bucky definitely was hot and that dance was even hotter. She rolled her eyes at Sam when he was grinning so wide. Of course he was. She scoffed under her breath, in this spot there was a bit of a breeze so she guessed that there was AC around here somewhere and when it hit her back she shivered because of the sweat running down her back.
Teresa looks down at Barton when she's sure she hears something from him and then frowns, what was up with him tonight? He just seemed so miserable. "Thanks Nat" she said and smiled softly before grabbing her drink, after taking her seat back next to Bucky of course, and being sat in the middle between him and Sam. She took a drink from her glass and pulled her lip in between her teeth, that dancing had left her breathless.
Lexi huffed out a soft laugh before leaning back in her own space. She actually felt really good right now, between the music, the company and the drink. Everything was good.

"You're welcome." Nat replies, eyes lifting briefly from her phone to give Teresa a small smile. "Seems like you two might need them." She teases a little, before her gaze lowers once more.
"Ochen' zabavno." Bucky mutters under his breath, reaching for a glass set in front of his seat. Nat smirks a little to herself. He sips at the amber whiskey, letting it go down smooth, before he lazily holds the glass between his thighs. The cool air from the AC trickles down his back.
"Work?" Barton asks Nat casually, changing the subject and looking towards the redhead with an inquisitive eye. Nat shakes her head slowly, disinterestedly, and tucks her cellphone back into the pocket of her black shorts, drawing her legs up onto the seat beneath her. "Boyfriend?" Barton adds in a wry tease, a smile stretching across his mouth. Nat sips at her drink but says nothing, her grey eyes rolling subtly.
"You've got a boyfriend, red?" Sam asks, brows darting upwards. Nat sighs out a breath, and runs her fingers through her crimson hair. "Well that would certainly explain where you've been for the last couple of months." Sam chuckles, reaching for another shot of tequila. Bucky looks to her, a slight furrow forming between his brows.
"I don't have a boyfriend." Natalia replies, looking primarily at Barton who'd, of course, begun this mess. Her expression is less than amused.
"Sure you don't." Barton titters, gulping down some whiskey.
