"So, are you going to call Barton?" Lexi asked as she leaned back against the wall of the pool. This felt much better. This was the reason that she pretty much came to the house on a hot day like this. She watched Teresa who was sat next to her drinking one of those drinks with the umbrellas in that her mother insisted on buying. It was pretty much the same drink as they served in Flynn's. Which kind of made her think that her mother actually worked there before she even had Lexi and Jace. Her twin. God that felt weird, especially when the dork was thousands of miles away in another country studying. "Are you going to call Sam?" she asked around her straw before smiling. "I might do, I mean come on who has a range in their basement?" "Clint Barton" Lexi huffed out before grinning. "And like I said, Sam is in DC probably having a lot more fun than us in Corpus" she smiled and shook her head. She hadn't spoken to him for a while, and a while to her was probably hours. She pushed her lips out slightly before reaching over and grabbing a drink and taking a sip of it. "But seriously though" she said around her straw. "You and Barton have a lot in common and you might actually have some fun with him while you're here. Didn't you hear, he's rich" she teased before scoffing. In honesty being rich didn't really matter to Lexi as much as it probably did to some people. She had known people that were so spoilt that their parents had never said no to them. Her mother had made sure that Lexi and her siblings worked for what they wanted rather than just dishing it out in millions. "I came here to spend some time with my cousin and not some rich guy but I'm definitely considering going to see his basement range because I reckon that would be pretty awesome" she admitted with a grin. "You want to tag along?" Lexi shook her head. "No, god, it's bad enough on the bench earlier and being down there with just you and him, I will only end up with more teases about my relationship with Sam that by the way doesn't even exist" she pointed at Teresa before she could say anything. They were just friends. But in honesty, who the hell was she trying to kid more? Herself or everyone around her? Sam being in DC meant that she had some time to herself. She went to work at Flynn's and then done whatever she did through the day, which mostly was sun bathe on the beach. That's what she loved about the beach here in Corpus. It was pretty amazing and they didn't have to go far to actually get what they wanted out of the beach resort. A smile pulled at her lips. "I'm glad that you're here" "Me too" Teresa nodded with a smile. It felt good to be here in Corpus with her family. Her dad was overbearing and Mystic was still pretty much a walking disaster. Corpus was more better and she had loved it here for ages. Like Lexi had said, why didn't she ever move here in the first place? She wondered what it would've been like to have lived in the same State as the Harris', growing up with Lexi, Jace, James and even Roman. God, she hadn't spoken to him since James and Jess' wedding. "You working tonight?" "Yeah, I think so"

"Wait, what's this one?" Barton blinks as he stares at the bulb shaped head of an arrow. By now, he has over fifty labeled and spread out across his living room floor. The TV is on, volume so low he could care less, but Lucky is sprawled out across the couch and watching the screen quite contently. The coffee machine chugs away in the kitchen, filling the entire main floor of his apartment with its rich scent. Its the third pot he's made so far. Shoulda bought more coffee too. He twists the arrow around in his fingertips, one corner of his mouth pulling down in a frown as he inspects it. "Did I make this one?" He mutters. The design states the obvious, but he doesn't know if its the coffee, or the dozens of arrows he's been staring at for a couple hours, or the overall desire to just pick them all up and dump them back into the unorganized mess they were in before, but he can't recognize it for the life of him. He scans the floor, trying to match it with the others, but it seems to be the odd one out. Barton glances back to Lucky for some help, but the dog just huffs out a breath though his nostrils. "Mm." Barton shrugs up a shoulder, and reaches for his bow. He twists where he's sitting, tongue pressing to the corner of his mouth as he aims at the target he'd painted on the living room wall the first day he moved in, and looses. The arrow sails across the room straight for the center, starts beeping rapidly as soon as it gets within a foot, and bursts open. "Oh..." Barton says aloud, brows raised as he watches the net slam into the wall and then drop in a puddle to the ground. "Shit." So much for cleaning up this mess. "How long has that one been in my quiver?" He asks himself, shoving up to his feet. He hasn't used net arrows in a long time. Mostly because of the mess. And they were a pain in the ass to reload. When he'd been making them, they'd just explode all over him, and that was awful trying to get out of. S.H.I.E.L.D had been all over them, though. Though for them, he hadn't made the technology into arrows. Just little powerhouse devices the size of ping-pong balls that an agent could throw in the field. S.H.I.E.L.D wasn't getting their hands on his arrows. He grabs up the net and starts lopping it back together as he walks back to his sitting place, tiptoeing around the piles of tricks.

"Will you be staying here?" Lexi asked as she pulled her hair back into a tight pony tail. Sadly work meant that she wasn't going to be able to spend any nights with Teresa, not that her cousin actually seemed to mind. It meant that the youngest Atwood had some time to herself to do whatever it was that she wanted to do while she was in town. "Yeah, I might actually have some fun to myself. Me and Flynn's really isn't needed right now" she huffed out a laugh before she looked around the apartment. It was nice and definitely better than the dorm room she had while she was at Harvard. Teresa had visited a couple of times even if her roommate seemed to complain about the fact that Lexi never used to leave her room while her then boyfriend was back from the Navy. But then again, Teresa was sure that she would've done the same had it been that she was in the situation. "Well make sure that you enjoy the food and I'll see you later" she smiled before nodding. Lexi sadly had to cover Michelle's shift as well as her own. Of course the girl had to go down with food poisoning right when her cousin was visiting. Although Michelle's mom was determined that there was something else wrong with her and had taken her to the hospital. Only time would tell on whether her mom was actually right or not. Teresa held up a hand and waved slightly as Lexi left the apartment. She waited for a moment before reaching into her back pocket and grabbing out her cell. While Lexi had been in the shower, she had grabbed her phone and looked for Barton's number. He had an underground range. How much awesome could it actually get? Only time would tell on that too. She pushed her lips out slightly as she wondered whether she should actually call or not. He said to ring but would he want to see her now? It was better than actually staying in and watching TV on her own. She loved Lexi but there was only so much of Flynn's that she could take. It was like stepping back into the Eighties. Not that she would know what it was like in bars in the Eighties. Teresa cleared her throat before she pressed the call button and put the phone to her ear then listened to the dialling tone as it rang. Did this make her sound desperate? God, she hoped not because that was the last thing she wanted to be but this dude had an underground range and she could pretty much use that to her advantage. Here was a guy in Corpus Christi that liked archery and Lexi knew him. Her cousin might have different tastes in men to Teresa but the one thing that she had right was the sort of friendship that she had with Clint Barton. Finally someone answered at the other end of the phone and a smile pulled at her lips. "Hey, it's Teresa, Lexi's cousin. You said to call" she pulled her lip in between her teeth. She definitely was desperate but who cares?

Barton's cellphone starts rattling up a storm in his pocket just as he's getting the matted ball of netting back into the head of the arrow. He jumps, and the fishnet pops right back out and drapes over his head. He frowns, shoulders slumping down as he scowls. "Aww arrow." Lucky licks at his cheek through the netting. He untangles himself, the phone still vibrating away, and throws the net arrow aside out of frustration. When he tugs the phone out of his pocket, its an unfamiliar number displayed across the screen. He arches a blonde brow, answers the call, and lifts the phone to his ear. "Uh, hello?" He hopes to whatever god there might be that its not S.H.I.E.L.D suddenly deciding to ignore his privacy policy. The last thing he needed was those guys sending him texts and cute kitten pictures on twitter. His brows inch even further up when he learns its not S.H.I.E.L.D at all, but the girl he'd only met a couple hours ago. Lexi's cousin. Lexi's archer cousin who would be just perfect as a sidekick. Lexi really wasn't subtle at all, but the fact the girl was actually buying into it surprised him. He did say range in his basement, right? Not offer a marriage proposal? He mixed those two up, once. "Oh. Right. Yeah." Barton rubs at the back of his neck. "Hi." He says when he can't think of anything else to say. "You..." He draws out the word for a second, trying to think of the right words. "Want to...shoot things?" He asks, and Lucky whines and flops his head down onto his paws. Even his dog is judging him. This was going great. "My house is kind of a wreck but..." He glances around, looking at all the arrows spread everywhere. His house was actually surprisingly clean for once. The dishes were done, mostly, he'd tossed out all the empty pizza boxes, and actually tried to make the place look less like a dorm room and more like a place a guy with an eight figure salary would live in. "Nothing really new there. I made coffee."

Teresa brushed her fingers against the kitchen table and then looked around the living room that she was standing in before she bit on her lip once more. "Oh, is that what you said?" she asked trying to keep her voice normal. "I thought you had proposed" she muttered and tried her best to actually sound disappointed. She liked teasing and was much better at it than she come to realise. Then a grin pulled at her lips and she then finally said "Shooting things actually does sound good" she admitted and then smiled to herself. In fact she was actually much better at shooting things than she was anything else. "I don't actually mind messy houses" she nodded once and then rolled her eyes when she realised that he couldn't actually see her. "Coffee does really sound much better than the crap beer that I could probably get at the local store" she teased before huffing out a laugh. Coffee she could work with. For her beers and bows didn't mix. Teresa had tried that when she was drunk once more and ended up shooting something else and really the people that it involved really wanted to call the cops on her. That was the last time she drank beer and used a bow at the same time. The last time she had actually used her bow was in the forest back in Mystic and that was mostly where she went when she wanted to practice. At one time she used to use the bit at the back of her parent's house but after she moved out of the house she went into the forest and used it there. It was quiet and it meant that she would be left alone. Especially when she actually left her cell in her car and continued on her merry way to do what she wanted. Sadly she actually spent most of her free time in the forest doing something or other. Mostly running to get rid of the thoughts that usually settled in her head whenever she didn't have anything to do. "Well, it doesn't have today but I was just seeing if you really wanted to do it, I know what my cousin can be like and I didn't want you to feel like you were pressured into anything" she huffed out a laugh. "But the truth is that I really am interested in using your range in the basement" she grinned to herself. Mostly her targets had been trees in the forest or the odd monster that wanted to cause havoc in Mystic, but when things started to calm down she had taken up painting targets on the trees once more but if this guy had a range then she was more than willing to actually travel to his house and use it because it sounded freaking awesome. Maybe Teresa was right, she could do with a new friend and while Clint Barton seemed to wind Lexi up to no ends, he seemed like the perfect guy to actually have a friendship with. And Teresa needed more friends. It was something she was lacking lately.

"Impress me first, and I'll think about it." Barton replied, reaching out with an arm to grab the remote to turn the TV down even further. Lucky pouts. "You know I'm joking, right?" He says after a second, realizing that even if she was being sarcastic, he didn't need to weird her out by thinking that he was somehow serious about possibly maybe proposing. He doubted she was that good, and even if she was he'd already covered the subject that getting a girlfriend, let alone a fiancee, would be the worst decision in the world. And he's king of bad decisions. "I'll make sure not to offer beer, then." He adds on, tucking the phone between his ear and shoulder as he rips off another piece of tape and wraps it around the end of another arrow. He yanks off the cap of the Sharpie with his teeth, and holds it in his mouth as he quickly scrawls out a label that probably only he can read. He's cool with that. "Today works for me if it works for you," He tells her after spitting out the cap and letting it bounce against the wall and onto the floor. "I'm so bored I might cry, so getting in a training session before dinner won't bother me." He admits, lifting his head and holding the phone with his hand once more. He leans back so he's sitting against the cushions of the couch, one knee bending upwards and his free hand falling to the ground. "Plus. I have cool toys." He smirks to himself. It was only half a second later that he realized just how wrong that sounded, and the smile drops. "Wait. Never mind. You need an address?" He asks, scratching at his cheek a little. Considering Lexi had never actually been to his house -or really any of the gang besides Sam and Nat- he doubts she has it right on the tip of her tongue. Unless Lexi is far weirder than Barton ever imagined her to be. Considering he got on her nerves most times, he would be seriously freaked out if she has that much information. "1312 Melrose. Big house on the west beach. Can't miss it." Barton resists the urge to snort at the unintentional archery pun. Even he hates puns.

Teresa snorted when he said about impressing him. In honesty she wasn't sure just how she would be able to do that. Graeme had always been the one to tell her that her skills were made for her. That she had been a natural at even age seven and right from then they just seemed to become even closer. She held her own when it came to getting the bad monsters but other than that she wasn't sure just how much it would be to impress him. "I figured" she admitted with a smile. "God, no, beer is definitely out" she teased and then pulled her lip in between her teeth. "Today is fine, in fact it's probably better than anything I have to do around here.. alone." Teresa pouted to herself before she snorted when he said about the fact that he had cool toys. She was sure that if it was anyone else then that would've been taken out of context. In fact there was moments when she would tease someone over their wording. But in the end it had all just been so much fun that it was second nature to her. Barton then went on to ask her if she wanted the address. "That would be great" she admitted. The fact that Lexi didn't know that she was doing this meant that she hadn't actually asked for the address. And it wasn't like it was up on the fridge door like most things were. Who the hell was Nat anyway? Teresa shook her head before she reached over and grabbed a pen and pad before writing down the address. "Melrose, huh?" she teased and smirked to herself once more. "You sure you live in Corpus and not in LA?" she huffed out before she looked back down at the address. "I'm sure I will be able to find it easily." Teresa might not have actually been in Corpus in a little while but that didn't mean she didn't remember where things were. She reached over and grabbed the keys to her dark blue 2012 Charger before clearing her throat. "Be there in a moment" she said and then ended the phone call. She ripped the note off the pad and then made her way to the door. God she actually hoped that she would be able to find it without ringing up for him to meet her. Like she said she probably would be able to find it, there wasn't much in this town that she couldn't find. So why the hell didn't she move here again? She walked out the apartment and down the stairs. The apprehension about coming face to face with someone she really didn't know that well and using his basement range was starting to settle into her veins. But something made her feel like she was being silly and there was nothing to worry about. Barton seemed like an okay guy and he was even fun. In those few moments they had spoke he seemed like a real character and maybe Teresa would get on with him better than she had with anyone else.

"Trust me, the fact that its on Melrose is probably about seventy-five percent the reason why I bought it," Barton huffed out in a slight laugh. And he could have lived in LA if he had wanted to, after all the beaches nearly aren't as dull there. But dull so far has worked for him. LA was crowded and troublesome, and he didn't like to sleep where he worked. Nothing happened in Corpus. At least, nothing of concern to him. Every once in a while a demon or a shifter or a ghost would wander through, but he had bigger fish to fry. He'd leave that stuff to the small-time, blue-collar hunters with anger issues and too much testosterone. Its better than getting in their way. That was a good way to get a nose broken and a lecture about all of their dead wives, or husbands, or kids. Hunters were miserable. He gets it. "See you then," He says into the phone before hanging up. He sets his elbow onto the couch cushions and turns his head to look at Lucky, who's watching with his face buried into his paws. "Who doesn't like beer?" He asks the dog, who just fumps his tail twice. Within a few, terribly clumsy seconds, Barton had collected all the arrows littering the floor of his living room and carried them all in bundles down to the basement. It wasn't really a basement when it was above ground (mostly; some days the sand buried half his house), but explaining that it was the first floor but not really the main floor was too much work. People usually didn't care about technicalities anyway. Though most people had never actually seen his basement. After the whole deal with Shadow -AKA Bucky- and S.H.I.E.L.D and Sam finding out what his actual day job is, Sam was the first. He'd taken one look at the place, raised his brows, and said in the most unimpressed voice ever, "So this is what you spend your money on." Barton had been hurt. But only for about a few seconds. It was hard for a guy who didn't do archery to geek about the tech that he had made for this place. Sam had been more interested in the weight set than the almost circus-like display of climbing ropes and high perches and targets fastened to the ceiling. Barton stuck a Twizzler in his mouth and chewed as he wandered back upstairs, Lucky following after him with tail pointed high.

Teresa looked at her Charger and smiled to herself. A year after getting the car, her dad had been determined that he was going to buy her a new one. But she had stopped him in his tracks and told him that she didn't want another new car. She loved the one that she had and there wasn't anyone in the world that was going to make her change her mind. In fact when she was with the pack back in Mystic, flashy cars were all the rage. Colton with his Porsche, Edric with his Camaro and Katherine with whatever car she had that took her fancy. Although out of all of that, it was Stiles' Jeep that she liked the best. She looked down at the address and smiled to herself once more. For once she was doing something that she wanted to do. Archery would be the one thing that she would do as her job if she could but she was going into the medical profession so that was her number one thing to pass right now. After what felt like forever she had finally found the house that he had been speaking about. It was actually bigger than the house that Jo and Chris lived in. Hell it was bigger than her own parents house back in Mystic. She stopped the car outside the house and cleared her throat before turning the engine off. God this was actually... Teresa wasn't sure what it was but she quickly looked down at the paper to see if she was actually at the right house. It definitely was the one. She bit on her lip and unhooked her seat belt before grabbing the keys and getting out the car. She was definitely impressed. A smile crept across her lips and she put the car keys into her back pocket as she moved across to the house and rang the bell. She turned her back to the door and looked around everything. Lexi definitely hadn't told her about this place, which made her think that maybe she didn't even know that it was like this or this was where Clint Barton actually lived. For some reason Teresa felt more comfortable calling him Barton than by his first name. Even if it made him sound like Madonna. She snorted at that sound and then turned when the door opened and she smiled at him. "Well I finally found the place" she huffed out a soft laugh. Now she was acting like a dork but she didn't really care. It felt good to actually act like this with someone else who did archery. She didn't feel so out of place. Everyone told her that her skills were amazing and that she should just marvel in it. Well now she was, especially when it came to standing outside of Barton's house. In honesty him saying about a basement range was like asking her to marry him. She was sure that this would be the coolest place around Corpus right now.

He was just pulling down a mug -a big capital H printed on the side- when the doorbell rang in two beeps across the house. Lucky's floppy ears lifted as high as they could go at the sound, and the desire to bark was dulled down into a low rumble in the dog's throat. "Sir, you have a guest at the door." The snarky English voice chimed from above him, and Barton scowled at the ceiling. "Didn't I disconnect you?" No response. He'll take that as a yes sir, shutting up right away sir. Barton crossed the floor of his house towards the door, leaving the empty mug by the filled pot of coffee, and Luck darted to his feet to follow after in piqued interest. Even with an eye-hole at his perfect height right on the door and a computer that could no doubt display an image of the front step if he bothered to plug all of its functions back in -what? the damn thing got irritating- he didn't bother with either. If anyone was coming to kick his ass, which really wouldn't be all that new, he'd like to think they wouldn't be dumb enough to knock first. Besides, he was expecting company. He twisted the lock and pulled the door open, poking his head out of the space. A smile found its way to his mouth when it was, in fact, Teresa and not a ghoulish monster back from the dead for payback. "Get lost?" He teases, though it really didn't take her all that long. At least, not long enough for him to really notice. He'd been too busy juggling arrows. "Come in." Barton smiles, nudging the door open further with his hip and taking a step out of the way. After she passes through, he stretches to the side to close the door and flip the lock once more. "This is Lucky," He points down to the golden retriever sitting on his haunches with his tongue hanging out and his tail swishing back and forth, just waiting for a pat on the head. "Don't let him drink your coffee cause he will." Barton tells Teresa with a glance towards her over his shoulder. Lucky closes his mouth a little and cocks his head to the side. "Dum dum." Barton murmurs fondly under his breath, and scratches behind his ear as he passes by.

Teresa laughed before admitting that she had actually got lost with a nod of her head. Okay, maybe she wasn't all that full of knowledge when it came to the streets of Corpus. She moved in through the door when he took a step out of her way and she looked around. Then Barton was speaking once more and she looked over at him to see that he was talking about a dog that was called Lucky. A smile pulled at her lips and she pulled the bottom on in between her teeth before she let a chuckle escape her lips. A dog that likes coffee, well that was one thing she had never heard of before. Teresa watched as Barton scratched the dog behind his ear when he passed by before she moved forward and crouched down. "Hello" she said softly and started to move her hand over his head and then scratching behind his ear. She loved dogs. In fact that was the most normal thing she had to admit right now. Hell she had seen werewolves and vampires but this dog was actually the most normal thing she had seen in a while. "I'll make sure to keep my coffee out the way of you then" she huffs out around a smile before she continued to scratch his ear. At one point she wanted to get a dog when she lived at home but then after finding out that her father hunted down werewolves, she decided it was probably better not to actually as for a puppy for Christmas. But she knew that as soon as she had her own big house, this was the first thing that she was going to get. But at the moment getting a dog was the last thing that she was going to do especially when she was trying to get through her own college work. Thankfully that was out for summer so it meant that she could have some sort of break from everything. Teresa then slowly moved up to her feet once more and then followed in the direction that Barton had disappeared. "You definitely are rich" she admitted before chuckling and then pulling her lip in between her teeth. "Don't worry, money doesn't matter to me" she said quickly. She just felt like she needed to actually put that out there. Especially when it was true. If she was honest, talking about archery with someone who didn't know her that well was actually one of the best conversations she had had in a very long time. So that goes to show just how not normal her conversations were back home. Even that sounded lame to her but at some point she was sure that she would be able to have normal conversations in the future. A smile pulled at her lips at that thought before she pushed her hands into the back pockets of her shorts.

Barton paused and glanced back when Teresa knelt down to pet Lucky. The dog's tail began thumping even harder upon the ground, the spoiled rotten mutt loving every second of her attention. Barton smiled a little to himself, only to snort when Lucky decided to lap his tongue right across her cheek. Probably the last thing she expected to make out with. Barton would call Lucky off, but he knew from experience that the dog wasn't likely to listen to him. Especially if girls were involved. Lucky would climb all over Sam and him any given day, but as soon as a girl showed up, he was more of a flirt than Barton ever had been. Barton shakes his head at the dog who just grins at him when Teresa stands up, and then turns back towards the kitchen. He glances back at her at the comment, and can't help but note the understatement of it. "Not that I like to brag," He says, reaching for the pot of coffee and finally filling that mug. He pauses to lift his shoulders high, a slight smirk worming its way to his mouth. "But yeah." He wasn't always, of course. In fact, it was within the last five years or so that he'd actually found his wealth. Only because S.H.I.E.L.D had taken an interest in him and what he could do with an arrow and what he could make. Secret government agencies paid well for weapon designs that were functional, lightweight, and rarely crapped out in the field. Rarely being the key term, but they only seemed to fuck up on him. "Here," Barton says as he slides the mug across the counter towards her. "Sorry, I only have sugar." He frowns a little and opens a drawer. "And...they're in packets." He pulls out a couple and holds them into the air. He was rich, but he was by no means gourmet. Class had skipped him somewhere down the line. Nat said it made him more humble, but he knew she was being sarcastic as shit. "Uh...anyway. Range is downstairs." Barton points in the direction of the staircase that curved downwards behind a very subtle wall that concealed it. Kept most people from wandering down without his permission, especially when he forgets to lock up most days.

Teresa couldn't help but chuckle when Lucky had moved his tongue over her cheek. She was going to probably be smelling of dog now but she really didn't care. Just as long as anyone didn't actually try to kiss her cheek then she was fine. She looked up at Barton when he spoke before she scoffed. Well at least he didn't brag about it. A grin pulled at her lips as she looked down at the mug when he slid it across to her. "No thanks, I take it black anyway" she nodded before reaching down and grabbing the mug and taking a sip of it. Lexi was the one that had the coffee addiction. The girl couldn't go a day without actually drinking the stuff. She looked over at him when he said about the fact that the range was downstairs and she smiled at him. It made it seem like Teresa was only here for the range but in honesty she actually wanted to see it. The only thing that she had found in her basement back home was where her father had arranged all his hunting trips. Then there had been that trouble with her grandfather. She cleared her throat that thought before she looked in the direction he had pointed. She tapped her fingers against the counter before she slowly moved away from it and towards the wall. Teresa then went down the stairs and finally came to the basement, after opening the door at the bottom, and then her mouth dropped open. "You really do have a range in your basement" she muttered to Barton. If she hadn't been holding onto her coffee mug tightly then she probably would've dropped it out of surprise. Well this definitely was one way to make sure he kept up with his archery. A smile pulled at her lips and she looked around. This was like a dream come true. "Do you want to give me your house?" she teased before continuing to look around once more. God, she had to get herself one of these. As soon as she got back to Mystic she was going to make sure that she actually got herself an archery range in a basement. Even if it cost her all the money that she had in the bank, she definitely was going to be getting herself one of those. This was like an archer's dream. In fact she was glad that she had come here because then Teresa would be missing out on this. Another smile pulled at her lips once more as she looked over at Barton. "I don't even know what to say about this" she admitted.

It takes her barely five seconds before she's making a break for the staircase with her coffee. Barton can't help but smile a little as he follows after her, taking the pot of hot coffee with him and a second mug. Lucky trots after to make three. Her face lights up like Christmas when she sees the range, and he can't help but think about how that's you're supposed to look. The entire lower level of his house is a stone fortress of goodies. There are three side by side targets to their left for simple practice, a twelve meter range. But all along the high walls and ceiling are ramps and perches and ladders and ropes, a spectacular display of obstacles meant to better your aim, or get right at your weak spots. Matching those places are other targets all around the room, some at angles, some way high, some way low, some twisted away from a perch, some staring straight on. On the other end of the room, far out of way of any possible falls or entanglements -which never happen of course not why would you think that- are a couple various weight sets to make every muscle ache and a pull-up bar. Just next door to that, is his workbench. Which, surprisingly, is the messiest part of the place right now. Who is he kidding, that's not a surprise at all. He takes a step to the right as Teresa indulges in the marvels of the place, and pours coffee into his mug before setting the pot onto the table. "Couple pizzas and a new engine for my car and I'm sold." He smirks towards her, though it was going to take a whole lot more than that to rip this baby from his hands. Cold and dead came to mind. He gulped down a few swallows of his coffee and placed one hand upon his hip. "So did you bring your own bow or do you wanna borrow?" He asks, arching a brow at her. "I gotta lot of bows."

Teresa was pretty taken when it came to this place. In fact it was actually perfect for her right now. She could practice all that she wanted in the forest not far from the apartment but this place, this room would make her that much more better. At that thought she could hear Graeme's voice in her ear telling her that he was proud of how amazing she was at archery. That might be true but she definitely still wanted a place like this. She then heard what Barton had said and then laughed. "Well don't tempt me because I will get those pizzas and the new engine" she teased before she looked around once more. It took her a moment to actually realise that he had spoken to her once more. "I have mine in the car" she admitted and then smiled, bringing her brown eyes over to look at Barton once more. It was one of the reasons why she hadn't actually flown to Corpus because she wanted to bring her bow and arrows with her. The last thing she wanted to do was leave it at the airport. Teresa pulled out the car keys to her Charger that was sitting outside his house before she cleared her throat. "Now this is a better way to spend my night than sitting in Flynn's and getting free beers" she smiled. Sure that would guaranteed that she would've seen Roman but she was going to be here for a while so it meant that she had enough time to see him and those baby blue eyes of his. "Are you sure you actually want to do this?" she asked. Teresa definitely want to be here and if she wasn't careful then she would want to be here everytime but at the same time she had actually come to spend time with her cousin and get away from the drama in Mystic. But this definitely was one of those ways she could get passed the drama that had been tugging her down for so long. Barton might be a stranger but she had a feeling that it wouldn't be for long, especially if he was willing to actually let her come back again after tonight. She still couldn't actually get over the fact that he had a range in his basement and that he had actually said about her coming to the house. Everything about this place was nice but for her this basement was actually what sealed it for her. God, he was definitely lucky to have somewhere like this. It made he want to go back to Mystic and find a place like this to build her own basement range.
